Yes. I don't have a garden- just a front yard with some pots- so I like having plants and flowers around the house. I've got about 3 window boxes and 4 -vases inside
Bottle, 'cause they're reusable and things taste nicer out of them.
Can are so can-like, they can't help it.
Glass because its environmentally friendly. Plastic makes for bad litter habits in my experience.
What's under your bed, both physically and metaphorically?
Ha.
Well until recently I had a futon like bed with nothing underneath but last year I got a brand-new queen-size (I
need my sleep) that has two sets of drawers.
Now I keep clean bedding, my kettlebells, big ol' t-shirts that I wear to bed. I think I have a ratty stuffed toy in there somewhere as well.
Basically not very sexy or psychologically revealing. Everything like
that is kept in my dresser.
😀
Metaphorically speaking I have issues I guess, like anyone else. But I don't repress as much as some and I get to vent quite often.
😉
Pizza! I like pizza. I almost never have hamburgers.
Do you have a signature matial arts move, like 'Axe-Kick of Doom' or something?
Sadly I have no 'Fist Of The North Star' type finishing moves but I'm quite good at legsweeps, hip throws and throwing my knees up during sparring.
I can also do a hell of a roundhouse! And I don't even fall over afterwards anymore.
🙂
What posters/pictures do you have up on your bedroom wall?
A few things:
I have a nice arts-y picture of fantasy-style horses drinking from a lake. They look like unicorns without the horn. It was painted and given to me by a good college friend that is sadly no longer around.
Fantastic photo of leaping dolphins swimming beside a fancy-looking yacht. My dad tok it when he was on holiday years ago- off the coast of Miami I think- and its really good.
Picture of cute kitten sleeping next to adorable puppy.
I have a workout poster with some kettlebell exercise intructions. Really should take that one down.
Door poster of bikini-clad Keeley Hazell.
No inspirations kitten calenders though, not any more.
Which season of Buffy or Angel would you like to be in the credits for?
Season 1 I think. I just love all of them when they started out with their carefree-ness and hopeless crushes.
If I were a Scoobie then the 16 year old me might've been able to help out some with patrolling. Plus S1 Willow is just the cutest.
Favourite MotW and recurring Baddie on BtVS/Angel?
One-off MotW (Monster Of The Week?) would be Gnarl. Just, so very scary in a great episode.
Recurring Baddie would be Drusilla. I love her crazy ways and she always has an impact when she shows up. Her entrance in Angel S2 was one of the best ever, and I always liked her flashbacks, even way along in Angel Season 5.
Favourite scene that involes any Willow/Faith interaction?
Choices. Such an important episode for both of them, they get set on their respective paths. Willow gets to be sauve and brave, Faith is now just an evil henchman who's most prized possesion is a knife.
I also liked them in 'Dirty Girls' at the hospital. Willow seesm to be one of the only ones who is genuine in asking if Faith is okay and really wanting her there in Sunnydale.
I have this one clear memory of when I came into my own as a sporty type. I was 10 and, like always, was one of the last picks for my sides netball team. I didn't get much to do for most of the match because nobody really passed to me (I have no idea why, I wasn't bad or anything, just 'new' to school)
The I was actually given the ball and managed to score 5 times in as many minutes and our side won the match. Everyone on my team congratulated me for a few days afterwards and I was 'accepted'. It was the first of those little moments that gave me a self-confidence boost.
What is your favorite workout to do?
I like using small free-weights, specifically kettle-bells which are super-hard to train with but give you an all-over body work out in no time.
Do you listen to music when you run?
I have a special running mix on my I-Pod of all these soaring orchestral pop songs like The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony', Elbow's 'Day Like This' Mumford & Sons 'The Cave', stuff like that always gives me a fantastic emotional lift when I'm out in the open, to go along with those endorphins.
