I do really enjoy Willow in S5, too, but I think for some reason my favorite is S6.

Do like coffee/lattes?
Yes, I have been drinking coffee since I was 14. Maybe that is why I am such a wreck. I am literally Tweek from South Park. My hair is blond and I can't button my shirts properly.

I mostly drink it plain, though I can enjoy a milky drink from time to time.
Do you like olives?
Yes, very much. There is even a story to it. Can't remember how old I was. A girl I had a crush on asked me if I liked olives. I lied and said yes, so she gave me all the olives from her plate. Not a terribly exciting story, I guess, but that is how I started eating olives.

My mother used to give me these massive, expensive ones that she bought from outside stalls, whenever I came to visit. They had either almonds or garlic in them. Soooo good!
What was your favourite year of school and why?
Well ... this is like my 23rd year of school, so that is a lot to choose from. From I was 17 to 18, I attended a sixth form college in England. I could not possibly begin to explain why this may have been the greatest year of my life. I grew up in this tiny, dark and snowy valley in Norway. Moving to a sunny town in southern England, meeting new people, being able to reinvent myself, travel all over... It was a amazing. It was really the year of new things.

I just realised I was your age. Try to enjoy yourself. It does not get better. You've already peaked.

What is your favorite French book?
The Stranger. It is really good, but I haven't really read a ton of French books, so I didn't have much to choose from 😛
What is your favorite adaptation of a novel or play?
The adaptation of Midsummer Nights Dream with Michelle Pfeiffer and Calista Flockheart is really good. Apocalypse Now may be too Heart of Darknessy for Willow and not as good as Giles remembered it, but I really like it.
Do you have a favorite Brontë sister? If so, which one?
Emily. Jane Eyre drags a bit 😛
What is your favorite Shakespeare play?
Hmmmm! I wanna say the first part of Henry the 4th for the amazingness that is Sir John Falstaff, but I guess I gotta go with Hamlet.
What is your favorite animated movie?
Since you're kinda French, The Triples of Belleville 😀
What is the best thing about Christmas?
Getting to see my brother.
If when why what?
Because that is what it is now.
how much have you got?
All that we need.
Have you got it?
Yes! ... have I?
Do you get it?
I hope so.
If so how often?
From time to time.
Which do you choose?
There are options now?
A hard or soft option?
hmmmmmm 🙄

I don't even know why I bothered to ask... of course it was going to be Emily!! :)
If you could be any Disney character, who would you be?

Which of Willows' looks (outfit, hair, etc.) is your favorite?

Loveliest human being in the whole world. Maybe better than Will.

Aaahh...I've gone all warm (no sarcasm intended!).

Fiction, definitely! Wouldn't anyone rather be a player than a bonified cheerleader? What do you say @TriBel ?

LOL! I've given this serious consideration and come to the conclusion "it depends". If you're a journeyman critic/academic then it could be you're simply hanging on someone else's coat-tails. If you're (for instance) Roland Barthes - then your theoretical works can be as creative - and as moving (see Camera Lucida) as a fictional text. In addition, writers like Morrison manage to be both a stunning fiction reader and an artful theorist (Playing in the Dark). There's nothing to stop you being both - in my case, I'm neither. 🙁

If you could be any Disney character, who would you be?
The Mad Hatter ... from the cartoon, not the horrible Tim Burton thing. Then i could celebrate my birthday every day.
Which of Willows' looks (outfit, hair, etc.) is your favorite?
I am a big defender of Willow's fashion sense. I like every bucket hat, overall and off-season Christmas sweater. However, I absolutely adore her relatively short haired, vaguely tomboyish look in season 4. Aly is so beautiful, she does not need elaborate curls to be absolutely gorgeous.
I'm neither. 🙁

We are like Dawn and Xander, Dr Tribel. We get too see and know.

That's because we see from the point of anamorphosis. :-)
What's your favourite and least favourite highlighter colours?

What's your favourite and least favourite highlighter colours?
Well, when it comes to reading and colour schemes, it is always best to pick something that is simple and comfortable. Pink and blue are nice colours, but they are often too dark. A bright shade of yellow or green works best, I find.

I agree :)
Nonoononono. It does get better. Being an adult is good, once you realise that you don't have to act the part all the time.
Ha! I still feel like Willow in Restless just before Buffy strips off her "costume" and pushes her in front of the class 😛

I'm not worried about Athene, though. She seems like she'll be all right. If I didn't, I'd try to come up with a better motivational speech.

Is being funny a gift or a curse?

Do people expect too much from you?

Have you ever felt bullied?

Are your family all academic?

Is being funny a gift or a curse?
I think you could answer that just as well as me, but thank you 😛

Damn! This is actually quite a big question for me. I do actually think I am quite funny, especially in real life 😀 Being funny - more importantly, believing I am funny - has done a lot for me. I am quite confident in my ability to be charming. I have gotten every job I have interviewed for and I have aced every oral exam I have ever taken.

I discovered my joy of making people laugh when I was in my early teens, I think. It quickly became my blanket and my crutch. I spend a lot of energy thinking about how I am perceived by others. Comedy is a great way for diverting people's attention from parts of yourself you don't want them to notice. However, the problem with comedy is that it makes the world less real. You pick everything apart and it starts to appear phony, ironic and artificial.

The great thing about BtVS is how it combines comedy, camp and genre play with real human emotion. I think that is why it appeals so much to me.

The biggest problem with thinking you are funny is all the people who disagree with you and just think you are annoying.
Do people expect too much from you?
I am trying to teach people that they can expect very little from me.
Have you ever felt bullied?
Yes. The school I went to was kinda rough (I feel like an idiot writing this on an international forum. There are probably loads of people here that would laugh at me if they saw the school I went, too 😛). There was a lot of bullying and fighting. It is really nice to be out teaching now, because things seem to have gotten so much better. I mean, I have never taught at the school I went to myself, so things may still be just as bad.

My experiences with bullying have probably marked me in a negative way. I am not saying I had it particularly bad. I would often be like Harmony and hide behind my more popular friends. I was also quite the fighter. Lots of bruised knees and bloodied noses 😛 Once I learned the power of words, I started spitting back at any verbal abuse. I got quite good at it. I rarely lose my cool, so I was able to pick my insults very deliberately. I wouldn't simply insult people's looks or their fashion sense, I would go after people where they lived.

I wouldn't say I was a bully myself, though some of my classmates might disagree. There were times when I was very quick to get revenge on any slight or perceived slight, and I often gave worse than I got. There may even have been moments were I took some joy in playing with emotions of people who had done very little to deserve it, but I think that was rare.

High School ... or sixth form college ... was actually a very happy period for me. There were some drama, I guess, but no bullying.
Are your family all academic?
No, only my dad is. As I mentioned earlier, my mother works in the social services. Actually, as of a couple of years ago, she works for a governmental body that overlooks the social services. My brother's partner has a PhD, but for the moment, she works in the private sector.

They could as well be, though, I guess, as most of my extended family have some sort of higher education. This is a big reason for why I relate to Willow. We are both environmentally damaged. We got that middle class angst in our bones 😛
