Ms. Keyes is spot on. Irish "dating", if there is such a thing, is definitely more a case of happenstance than anything else. Although I would say that while you are meeting someone or "drifting" as Marian describes it, there is an element of proprietorship about the whole thing. However, it would still be, technically, acceptable to see other people too.

Wasn't that sarcastically though? After they've broken up? I can't remember quite clearly, sorry, I really need to do a re-watch to spare myself these moments of shame ;P
