The premise of the 'remake' is absolutely genius at the moment with so many of them coming out all the time. The scream movies just show how well a parody can be done without resorting to the crappy standards of movies like Vampires Suck and Scary Movie.

Does anyone have any awesome plans yet for the movies release? I'm planning on hosting a rewatch of all three movies at my house with my mum, dad and boyfriend. Some beers and some popcorn and then head down to watch the last at the movies.

I totally agree. I'm going to watch the movies again before I go to the theater. So exciting!!!
 
I'm insanely excited for this!!! 😀 We saw the cardboard standup for it at the movie theater and I basically squealed like a little girl. LOL

Your not the only one they had the poster up at the mall movies and my friend is like Marisa did you see it? I got so excited!
 
Yeah i heard about this. I love the Scream movies so i cannot wait for this to come out and for me to be able to see it 😀
 
Am I the only one who's glad Gale's hair looks really good for this movie?! I thought it looked horrible in Scream 3. Her bangs bugged me lol

LMFAO that was a good one but yes her hair to me looked best in scream 1 and 2 i like this new look. I don't know what she was thinking in season 3.
 
I LOVED Courtney Cox's hair in "Scream 2". The red streaks were hot; I even tried to copy that hairstyle. 😉

I got my Scream box set in the mail yesterday, so we had a Scream marathon. 😀 IT got me even more excited for the 4th one! 😀

Me to I am determined to get that hair and buffy season 2 hair at least once i don't care if it is 10 years from now I will have it! lol.
You got the boxset how does it look? I got all of them on sale for like 5 bucks at best buy one time but a box set sounds very appealing. Glad your excited 🙂

Love the poster and I love seeing them ah finally I see some Adam B love him and I think he will be a great addition to the cast! 🙂
 
Thanks Marisa - I thought it was Adam Brody but wasn't to sure. I really should have checked out imdb better, I didn't realise he was going to be in it!

Im so excited about this movie at first I was a bit sceptical because I love the first ones but since its still the same surviving cast I couldnt be more excited!
 
I'm still anxious about this. I am excited but I'm also really apprehensive. I have always been a huge Scream fan and I think that it is one of the most genius films ever made. I loved one and two but I watched the third again last year and, really, it sucks. Especially in comparison to the last two. So while I am excited I'm nervous as to whether they're going to pull this off. I want the things that charmed me about the first two and I desperately don't want to be disappointed.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Adam Brody but when I found out about his role I was kinda disappointed. Since the rumours about Jamie Kennedy making an appearance were quashed when I saw AB had joined I was like "yeah, he could make an awesome replacement for Randy" but alas, no.

Don't get me wrong, I'm only nervous about it because I love the first two so much...
