Season 5 cast - the best?

I do like the season 5 cast. But season 2/season 3 was just SOLID. I hope I wouldn't have to explain why on a Buffy board. 😛 They are sentimental seasons for me; the pinnacle of the series for me.

I do have to admit, the season 2-3 cast was awesome, but it didn't have anya or tara (even though they're more outside scoobies) i thought that oz was very cool.
but in season 3, i felt that cordelia was as included and i preferred her on angel.
plus the s2-3 cast has angel. i don't really like him, but i kinda prefer him on angel.

I'll second that..Pretty much everyone Buffy character that I didn't like..Angel, Cordy, Wesley, and Faith went on Angel and I liked them 10x more than I would have ever liked them on Buffy

For me, season 3 and 5 cast are tied. Season 3 has Cordy and Faith, but season 5 has Spike, Anya, and Tara. Although Dawn kinda levels the two seasons out, cause I don't really care for her.

I'm not sure really. I liked the Season 5 ensemble as they seemed at their strongest, but I didn't like Dawn and would have preferred having Oz in the cast as well (not that that would have worked well, with the whole Tara/Willow thing). I think Spike was at his most interesting here as well, as he wasn't entirely good but not exactly the big bad anymore either.
