Willow & Faith (taken from PM)
Willow
Willow slowly approaches Faith from the side, somewhat warily. After a minute of waiting for Faith to see her she clears her throat to get some attention.
"Hey, hate to tear you away from the," Willow gestures towards the smouldering gas station "lovely view of burning stuff, but I was wondering- what happened in there? Amanda mentioned a vampire? All the way out here- isn't that a bit weird?"
She thinks for a moment:
"A-and I think we might have another problem. I did a locator spell," She waves her hand over the crinkled map she's holding "And I don't think we're in 'our' dimension anymore. I mean, I can't find Buffy or any of the other slayers by tracking their...energy. The girly-slayer energy that was released by the spell."
She looks at Faith speculatively.
Faith
Faith glances at the map and thinks about what Willow just said. She shrugs.
- 'Yeah well, never a dull moment right? Vamp got stuck in there on a raid probably and was laying low till we arrived. Saw a chance.'
Faith scratches at her arm, "Wicked strong too, although he burned pretty up just fine.'
She changes the subject- 'So we hopped dimensions somehow? So- B and everyone their stuck in the real world without the bus? They probably got all out stuff too." She shakes her head, "Still, its good we don't havta worry about them. Got any ideas about how we got the short straw here?'
Willow
Willow chews on her lip thoughfully.
"I think I can sense the scythe- your slayer weapon- like a little ways away. Somehow it came here with us and its sending out a- like a vibration. It's hard to explain because this place is kinda," she waves her hands vaguly, 'Oogey with the magic. Or maybe my head is. Either way oogeyness is afoot.'
Faith
Faith frowns.
- 'So when you did this light-show thing using the scythe is that all you felt? I mean, B comes back with this radical story about talking to some wrinkly know-it-all lady that she totally buys into and now, turns out that maybe it does some other stuff that wasn't on the label.'
- 'Maybe the spell you tried did something a little extra, and now here we are.'
Willow
Wilow tries not too sound too petulant and hisses:
"It's not my fault! I did a spell, my most powerful ever spell and I-I this is not me, okay? I'm completely energy-spent and not in a nice..." She stops before finishing the end of that sentence. Now is not the right time to get flustered and defensive.
"There was no loss of control or wacky casting side effects. This time. So there."
Faith
Faith smirks at Willow's outburst and holds up her hands in mock surrender.
- 'Wow, ease up there Red. Just sayin', if somethin' did happen, wouldn't be your fault if things went sideways on us.' Faith lowers her arms and folds them, 'Sides, I'm the last one gonna throw stones about making mistakes.' She thinks for a moment, '
If the scythe's involved then maybe we follow the good vibrations, see what shakes, yeah?'
Willow
Willow brightens a bit because Faith came up with the same idea as her:
'Yeah, I think that could work too. I have a general heading that we could follow. A-and the closer we all get the easier is should be for me to find just by concentrating. What I'm really wondering though is...wha's the gas station doing here? Because that, that felt like it came from the same place we did. It felt like it didn't belong. And all the people got taken along with...'
Willow remembers the wallet Amanda found in the bathroom.
"Hey! Hey waitasec...was this lady in the back somewhere?"
She takes the wallet out of her pocket and hands it to Faith. "If not then could be that there's a survivor out there who escaped the uh, well, the whatever badness happened here."
We should tell the others about this."
Faith
Faith digs through the wallet.
- 'Doesn't look familiar, could be that she rabbited and managed to escape. Anyways, you give out the scoop, I'm gonna check if the pipsqueak managed to pick up some smokes before everything went boom.' She nods at Willow and walks over towards the main group.
