gosh, i hope not!!
i haven't seen the movie yet, coz it isn't released over here until friday (Northern Ireland is always a week behind) so i'm hoping there will be a big crowd for friday!!

People are acting like the fact that it was number two was a terrible thing. Not that it wouldn't have been great for it to have premiered at number one, but number two is pretty respectable.

Although 10.1m isn't a huge number, I think we need to take into account the current movie situation. Attendence is still low right now, so everything is relative. The way I look at it, it hit number two, which is pretty damn respectable for a genre show with only mediocre advertising.

I'm hoping more then 80 million cause firefly rocked and Serenity is just as good

Serenity's one of those little movies that has a chance to grow and find an audience. Don't know if you've noticed it, but Universal's promotion is based on it being good, something studios rarely do. Remember 28 Days Later? Serenity could perform in similar fashion -- with somewhat lower totals for being a fall release though.
