InsaneMystic agrees: ok, I take the bait (even though I fear it's a lead-up for a pun). What kind of test is that?
I'm not sure. Stewart Lee said it, so it must be true, and my RE teacher verified it. I think it's some kind of personality test, which baffles me because I'm not sure which questions other than "Do you feel sexually attracted to men?" are going to be a reliable indicator.

It might be based on the Canadian Homometer that was mentioned on QI a few weeks ago, it was developed in Europe to tell if someone was lying about their status to get out of serving in the war, but was taken to Canada and used by the Mounties to see if a Mountie was actually homosexual.

It was used up until the 1980's, however I wouldn't put it passed the Catholic Church to use it, even now.

FYI, I doubt that it works, however I did watch an interesting Louis Theroux doc last night called 'A Place for Paedophiles' and they have a device that works like a lie detector to see if someone is aroused by particular images.

Sidenote: find it kind of funny that no one has chosen male and gay. Not because there shouldn't be gay male fans here, but because I've heard people try to argue Buffy is just a show for women and gay guys. This clearly demonstrates this is untrue. Buffy is for everyone.

In the same way that im attracted to my neighbours cat. People will fulfill their 'ship delusions to no end...especially, it seems, when it comes to Buffy.

Well, it's true! Anya and Andrew, Anya and Spike, Anya and Willow, Anya and Buffy, Anya and anything that moves...

I have a problem.

I know I'm not Willow, I'm even cooler than Willow. ;D

Again, I have a problem.

Anya and Buffy? Really? They had A scene together. Your probably kidding but so far your posts dont lead me to think otherwise. Maybe its the red haired, wicca, lesbian that throws me off... you realize your not Willow right?

Actually, I've come across the stereotype that only gay people in general watch the show. I once told a guy that I was a Buffy fan and he replied "Oh, so you're a lesbian" and I was like "Whaaaat?". This was btw the same guy who also said there couldn't possibly be any straight guys on a websit about Buffy (if anyone remembers...i wrote that down somewhere before).

Okay, while I can see (besides the obvious Xander/Anya...that's sort of a given) at least some tension, let's not specify the type, between Anya/Andrew, Anya/Spike and Anya/Willow ... at latest when you mentioned Buffy I was completeley lost. Where was there tension? They hardly ever interacted at all.

Haha, I dunno, I read a Buffy/Anya fanfic once and then I noticed things. Even when one of them looked at the other I was like "SEXUAL TENSION!" XD

They did try to kill each other once or twice!

Pretty much every homosexual man I have met (and asked) has liked Buffy to a different degree.

Maybe they just don't like posting on forums.

I've not heard the 'only the gays love Buffy' BUT I do know alot of gays do like the show.

It brings me back to the 'Buffy as a Gay Idol' thread where I said that people from ALL walks of life like this show because anyone can take something from it.

I wasn't trying to say gay people don't like it or shouldn't. I've just heard the sentiment expressed several times that no straight guy could like Buffy, so I found the results here interesting.

Well, that and that there's no votes for male and gay, which based on what I'd heard people suggest in the past, I thought would get a lot more votes.

Well either they were straight and they just dont get Buffy...and are too narrow minded to concieve of people who think differently to them

Or they were gay and like to think of themselves in a little club that only gay people get...

Either way they're hopeless retards.
