Tonight was so depressing. Each year my grade looses a classmate. Last year it was Tommy McCullen. He died of muscular distrophy. This year it's Ashley Williams. She has cancer. She's not dead yet, but she's not gunna make it another year. They said that to the end of July would be stretching it. She used to be a cheerleader. She was the only freshmen who made the high school squad. She's also African American (that might not mean nothing now, but just read on). There was a concert tonight at the PAL (a recreationaly building) and admission was 7 dollars. The money that was raised went to paying for her hospital bills. A couple of my friends went with me. No one showed up besided the band and their groupies. There were 30 people there tops. 10 people who were playing at the concert, 3 police men, 7 groupies, and 10 people who came to show support. Ashley got there and it was so sad. She's so weak that she can't even walk. They have to push her around in the wheel chair. You can see every single bone in her body. Her body is so pale that even though she's a dark colored African American girl, who skin is the color of a white person that stays inside to much. She was in horrible shape. I felt like crying for her when I saw her face. It was clear that she was expecting her friends to be there with welcoming arms, but no one showed up. How would you feel if one of your last experiences on earth was one that showed you no one cared about you? It was a horrible night. My friends and I couldn't stay there because it was to depressing so we left. Everyone that is religious please keep Ashley Williams in her prayers.
