"she'll tell you, you know. someday, she'll tell you"

Although I'd love to see Buffy and Spike back together, I agree with those who do not refer the "she" to Buffy.
Remember when Dawn had this little crush on him? She told Buffy, that even if she did like Spike, whe would not stand a chance because he is totally in love with her.
Maybe that is the big twist!
 
Hmmm, now YOU're making things interesting! Dawn telling Spike she loves him ... it would be nice, but I'm guessing, it's not what we're looking for ... but the whole "she" is not Buffy -theory, is pretty good!
 
um... Dawn and Spike? I find the idea way too revolting. She's like a little kid. Even though she's more mature now, I see her as WAY too young. And I always saw the relationship between them as more brotherly and sisterly.
 
Hmmm no not a Brother/Sister thing Brothers and Sisters are supposed to hate each other ..lol ... but they definatly won't get it on. But I don't think Dawn likes Spike anymore since he tried to rape Buffy.
 
Its obvious to me that Buffy will tell Spike that she forgives him. Did you see the look in her eyes when she saw Spike in last weeks episode? It was a look of loathing and hatred, not forgiveness. She said "prove to me that you have a soul". She hasn't forgiven him yet.

Remember in season two, "I Only Have Eyes For You":
Giles: He's, he's trying to... resolve whatever issues are keeping him in limbo. W-w-what exactly those are, I'm not...

Buffy: (interrupts) He wants forgiveness.

Giles: Yes. I imagine he does. But when James possesses people, they act out exactly what happened that night. So he's experiencing a form of purgatory instead. I mean, he's, he's doomed to, to kill his Ms. Newman over and over and over again, and... forgiveness is impossible.

Buffy: Good. He doesn't deserve it.

Giles: To forgive is an act of compassion, Buffy. It's not done because people deserve it. It's done because they need it.

Buffy: No. James destroyed the one person he loved the most in a moment of blind passion. And that's not something you forgive. No matter why he did what he did. And no matter if he knows now that it was wrong and selfish and stupid, it is just something he's gonna have to live with.

Buffy: James picked me. I guess... I guess I was the one he could relate to. He was so sad.

Giles: (sits by her) Well... they can both rest now.

Buffy: I still... (exhales) A part of me just doesn't understand why she would forgive him.

Giles: Does it matter?

Buffy: No. I guess not.

Cassie told Spike that someday "she will tell you." That was meant for Spike, Cassie's last gift. If it was told to Spike, then it would have to be important to him, something he was yearning and longing for. He's wouldn't care if it was Dawn declaring her love - he's not yearning for Dawn, or anyone else. What does he long for, more than anything? He longs for Buffy - her forgiveness, her love, her respect. Just Her.
 
Spike and Dwan?....hmmm let me see....yack no. Weird tho seeing as Dawn is now almost the exact age as Buffy was when she started dating Angel who is in fact quit a few years older than Spike. So theoretically it is possible for the two to get together but I think SMG was a little older than MT so in that respect probably not a good idea to have her snog a 30something year old.

I think Cassi's words were ment about Buffy...at least I hope so. I think she's either forgive him or love him. Or both I guess.
One can hope even if it is a major Whedon curve ball!!!
