Shows You Gave Up After Seeing Several Episodes/Seasons

True blood was a shocking one, nothing else at the time seemed to be that full on. TV seems to have changed dramatically in the last few years. Maybe I am being exposed to more now than I was before though. I dont mind if its in a show that I expect it to be in, and I definitely dont mind if it is a part of the plot for a couple (or more) to hook up - but some of it is over the top, scenes that leave something up to the imagination are preferable.

It is annoying when starting a new show and having sex acts in the first episode for no particular reason. The OA did this, Sense8 had weird orgies that didn't need to go on as long as they did (Didnt mind wolfgangs appearance at the wedding though (sw)), both were otherwise enjoyable shows. If I didnt have the net to look at while they were on, I may have given up on them and missed out for it.

I like him in Smallville season 8. He was a great Doomsday 😉

i really try not to give up on shows but sometimes I just can't find anything to keep me going:

Hemslock Grove - S2 was horrible, I just couldn't continu watching.
Orange is the new black - S2, I hated almost all of the characters and we have a french version here with a similar plot that I like better.
True blood - S3 lost me. I have read the book thought and love them.
Zoo - It's just bad in every way.
Grimm - lost interest after S1.
Sleepy hollow - I really loved the characters dynamic but I stopped watching after S2 I think because I had too many shows to watch and had to choose my favorites.
Greys anatomy - S3 I think. I gave it a try but It's just not my kind of show.
Charmed - I never saw the last seasons. They lost me after that avatar thing.

You were wise to skip them. The last seasons were really very, very bad. For some reason I kept watching, maybe hoping for things to turn around, it never did.

Season 7 is okay for me. Don't like the avatar but Zankou was great and we have charisma the seer 😉 . But season 8 ??? bad, very bad season.

The Big Bang Theory - I watched 10 seasons but looking back, I honestly don't know why. I can't stand it now.
Grimm - Stopped after s04 ended.
Elementary - stopped at the end of s02.
The Cape - watched 5 episodes.
Vikings - stopped when they had the time jump
Didn't watch the last season of House of Cards and of Orange is the New Black
Can't bring myself to watch s03 of Twin Peaks. I saw the first episode and it was such a disappointment that I'm afraid to keep watching

Keep watching and it will soon draw you in. It is a very different beast than the original and it is very sparse on fan service, but there are so many moments of joy and brilliance.

Thanks, that's reassuring! Because I know I'm gonna watch it eventually but that first episode really disappointed me

Lost (stopped after it was shown there are more people on the island. I liked it more when it was just the passengers from the plane we saw crashing.)
Pretty Little Liars (Stopped after S3)
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Stopped after the first episode)
