buffy's reaction to being caught by that nurse in the blood donor office in Anne "going through your private files" and how she calmly yanks the phone off the wall...quiet power. I love it!
Everyone's reaction when they open the doors to the magic shop on tabulala rosa and the next few minutes when they're trying to figure out what's happening..."maybe it's halloween". "I think they want spikes" and spike's helpful attempt throwing stakes in front of them "here, give them these!"
When everyone is worried giles might be the first and they all run up and tackle him and start touching him all over "I'm touching him!" as he's sitting by the fire...
Buffy fighting all those vampires at once after she burns down that house where humans go to have them feed from them...after she find out about Riley
I know there are a lot more but those just popped into my head as scenes I love to watch over and over...
For angel I've not yet finished season 1 so I can only comment on that but so far, yes definitely angel dancing!
Also when he becomes human "I am so....hungry!" and eats everything in sight. "I forgot how much I love chocolate...but not, as it turns out, yogurt."
Cordelia's audition after Doyle dies for the stain removal thing and how she's crying all through her lines about the stain being gone...and the casting directors reaction "ok, that was interesting... But this time let's try being happy that the stain is gone". And then on the next take she doubles over in pain from her first vision and they're like "ok, we'll let you know"

A lot of my favorite scene's have been mentioned. But there is one that has not. In Phases were Buffy ends up flipping Larry over her shoulder in gym class. After Willow tells her remember you have to act like a normal girl. I end up laughing every time I watch that whole gym class scene.

One that instantly comes to mind is during "Apocalypse Nowish" when the Fang Gang are fighting the Beast on the rooftop. Wesley with guns is the definition of badass!!
Another that came to mind was Angel singing "Mandy" with Cordelia's and Wesley's horrified reactions lol
And Giles in Two to Go/Grave. "I would like to test that theory"...I jumped up off my couch the first time I saw that scene

Balderdash and chicanery
The final battle in Chosen. All the slayers and scoobies fighting, dying, winning, discovering themselves in the fight. It feels like you become closer to the characters in this one chunk, than you do in the entire season. Buffy getting hurt, then standing up to Evil. I get chills just thinking of that. It was like all of the actors and actresses knew it was the last chance, so they gave it all they could.

I just thought of that last scene in Chosen too, the fight scene with the ubervamps, but especially the scene that begins with Spike burning up and then goes into Buffy running along all the buildings as Sunnydale collapses beneath her all to that absolutely epic music.

Chill out man, that season has been out almost 10 years. You can't get mad at us for not putting a spoiler alert before we write anything. It's not like they wrote about an episode that JUST happened.:giggle:

Oh! No, that's not what I meant, not at all - sorry. I didn't start coming to this forum until I'd watched all of BtVS, and you are absolutely correct that there is no such thing as a "spoiler" on this forum. A "spoiler" on a forum like this only relates to something that has not yet aired.
No, it was entirely my fault. During my BtVS watch last fall, I came across a blogger who listed the 11 best Giles episodes, and his appearance in Two to Go was one of them. I went ahead and read his blog entry and watched the accompanying vid, and that's how I was spoiled. It was all my fault.

Too many... Spike trying to get Xander and Willow to get up and go kill some vampires at the end of 'Doomed'. Buffy having to kill Angel and leave Sunnydale at the end of 'Becoming P2'. Connor coming back from Quor'toth at the end of 'The Price'. Faith vs Angelus in AtS S4. Oh and Giles and Buffy chasing Ethan in 'Band Candy', and then interrogating him. 😉

Not sure if these have been mentioned before, but here goes anyways. Also, the Dru scene from my banner (just in case I switched my banner by the time you read this, also the Spike scene from my other banner)
1. Doppelgangland - The entire scene in the library when everyone thinks Willow is dead, and then she comes in. Especially Xander shaking the cross to see if it's out of batteries, and one of the greatest Willow lines ever: "say, you all didn't happen to do a whole bunch of drugs, did ya?" Love it.
2. The Zeppo - Every scene with Xander and Cordy is great in this episode. Also, the beginning, when Willow says "the shaking is just a side effect of the fear."
3. Potential - Xander's speech to Dawn. I don't think that one needs any more explaining.
4. Innocence - God, there's just too many. I could probably make a whole list just for this episode. Okay, Giles' speech to Buffy in the car at the end of the episode. Oz's "willow-kissage" speech. Xander being awesome at the army base. The Buffy-Angelus scene, especially Angelus saying "love ya too" as he's leaving.
5. The Body - I love this episode so much that I force myself to re-watch it. Every scene is perfect, but specifically when Xander is saying that he needs someone to blame, and Willow says "Okay, you and me, let's go." (I'm paraphrasing)
6. School Hard - The best Spike line ever: Who do you kill for fun around here? I must have watched that scene a hundred times.
7. OMWF - The Walk Through Fire montage is unbelievable. I watch it on youtube all the time, to the point I'm not sure I can tell which one is mirrored anymore...
From Angel...
1. She - The scene where Angel dances. I would give my left arm to have them re-make that scene in Bones.
2. Can't remember 😛 - Wesley makes Angel wear the pink helmet
3. Darla - The scene where Darla asks Angel to turn her.
4. First Impressions - The Denzel conversation is awesome.
5. The Girl in Question - Angel's cookie dough rant. I laugh every time.
6. Smile Time - Aww, Angel, you're cute!
7. Epiphany - Angel's speech to Kate, with one of my favorite lines from any TV show, "If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do."
8. Double or Nothing - You know how some things are so terrible that they're great? Well, that's pretty much how I see the 'climax' of this episode. Angel: "A three?!"
9. Judgment - Couldn't end it on that note. Speaking of which, the credits during this episode remind me why I love DB so much. "What's everyone doing in my living room?"
There's probably more, but I'm tired.

I don't ever just watch random episodes or scenes, I'll do full rewatches. The scene that always comes to mind first is that sword fight from Becoming, so I think that would be the fave scene to rewatch for me up until the end of the episode. Now I feel like watching it!

Me too! I used to rent all my buffy books from The Burton Barr Library. The big one with sails on it...you know?
so many scenes... but, when Buffy gets the Class Protector Award in The Prom is probably my single favorite scene to watch.
