BUFFY Versus BLADE
Strength, Durability, Skill, and Speed Levels
Buffy:
It has been said that Buffy Summers is much more powerful than the vamps in the Buffy Jossverse, even the stronger ones such as Angel or even Dracula (both of which are capable of lifting and carrying in excess of 600 pounds).
We have seen her toss full grown adult males across fair distances, including well-trained soldiers in full combat regalia.
We have witnessed her on the construction site quite easily carrying around 8 feet of steel "I" beams which probably each weigh close to 1000lbs.
It took groups of regular construction workers to carry the same types of beam. And again, as I mentioned before, she did this without breaking a sweat. As far as raw physical strength goes, Buffy is probably in at least the 1 ton range.
The Buffaroni has been hit by a cars, been stabbed, fallen off buildings (I think), been thrown through walls, pillars, stone, etc. by her enemies (most notably Glory and Caleb) who also punched and kicked her with their far superior strength, yadda yadda yadda.....and in all cases she has gotten up and walked away from it....any incurred injuries healing up in a day or less.
We have seen her keep brisk pace with moving automobiles and engage in combat in the same way.
As the slayer she has inherited all the abilities of the past Slayers. Potentials who have had very little training magically know how to fight when they become full Slayers. She also has the skill and experience of 7+ years of slaying she has acquired herself.
Blade:
Has the durability of a Vampire, and of course none of the weaknesses. And much like our fave Slayer We have seen him survive getting stabbed, survive great falls, multiple beatings, etc, etc.
Appears to be in the same strength class as the Buffster (but his strength increases with blood). Just watch his battles for examples of this. And for those who've seen the movies, remember the one-handed grab of the fast moving train with another person in tow? The man went from 0 to 60 in mere seconds. That's massive weight/pressure on his arms which he handled well. (Although, It is important to note that this did dislocate his shoulder).
We have seen him tossing around opponents like rag dolls. We've seen him leaping from great heights and land with ease. His reflexes are bullet-level. He has been observed moving at faster than normal speeds (his ground speed is also considerable....most notably while chasing down Dracula/Drake.....and he also fights with great speed. The La Magra battle especially comes to mind).
His bones are stronger than those of a human, although his flesh isn't bulletproof his healing factor can take care of those pesky injuries pretty quickly. And blood, again whether ingested or topically applied, increases his strength and healing factor considerably.
Started his training when he was 13, and he is in his thirties in the films, which means he's had 15+ years of experience/training.
All things considered, Blade would have the edge here.
