Promiscuity is relative. But IIRC, not exceptionally religious women in 2000 didn't see sex in a steady relationship as promiscuous, irregardless of how many relationships she had.

I think if Angel hadn't interrupted their "dancing" that would have gone that way. Too much UST between them later to suggest it did go further...

Though I think Faith was far more willing to admit to herself she wanted to snog Buffy's face off than Buffy was to admit she wanted to do the same.

Think what a difference to the season (and later) it could have made if Buffy and Faith had got together after. Faith might well have not killed the deputy mayor because she and Buffy might have been too busy... okay, I can't think of a good way to end that.

Now I can't stop wondering how things would have turned out. The deputy mayor alive because Buffy and Faith were... occupied. So, they get information on the mayor's plans earlier. Buffy and Faith going into season four as a couple (no Parker), with no bad blood between Faith and the other Scoobies. Spike would more than likely have had to flee or die, given what he pulled (assuming he even survived that long), and I can't see Faith taking any nonsense from him for having designs on her girl later. You would have two fully active Slayers all through seasons four and five, so five would have gone differently too.

It would be interesting.

I think in that scenario there is a 100% chance Glory brutally kills Faith in front of Buffy.

If Joss wrote it, certainly a very good chance! But Glory passed up several chances to do something like that because, well, she's nuts.
Glory gives me a thought. What if, with Faith around and so close to Buffy, the monks accidentally made Dawn Faith's sister? That was a really powerful spell and they were really rushed at the end, so that sort of targeting error seems possible!

Hmmmmm. Now that's an interesting idea.....
No. It is the reverse in reality. He is more "slutty" than her.

It is the same for his insults to other men:"poofters, nancy boys etc." These insults are related to his insecurities and the fact he knows "he isn't masculine enough". The "virgin/effeminate" human William, after being turned, created the "hypermasculine" Spike persona to compensate his insecurities.
