SMG... Hot?

I think SMG was hot but as the years have progressed she has gotten way to skinny for me. I like her when she was a little thicker. I will say that I still think she has a beautiful face however and she probably always will.
 
I think she was prettier in the earlier seasons, but then she did get really quite thin and her bones showed a little more than i think was healthy . Hot? well i don't know i've always been annoyed by her and her acting roles so i don't think i've ever thought about it.I'm normally grumbling at my TV.
 
Sarah is hot all the time. Yes, in season 7 she is too skinny. Like Jamie Marie have said on http://www.buffyguide.com: Please, someone, give Sarah Michelle Gellar a cookie! She has no boobs left! Dawn is really starting to show her up in that arena. I agree.

But Sarah have that something. I can't help myself, I think she's always very attractive.
 
You're right. She's terrible to look at it. When her husband inevitably leaves her, I suppose I'll take the bullet and start sleeping with her. Not because I want to, but for charitable reasons, you know?
 
Sarah doesn't strike me as the type of girl who would sit around eating doughnuts between scenes, and even if she was, she's in practically every scene in every episode in every season. Considering the schedule that she worked, plus how little she is to begin with, there was never any real danger of her gaining weight. Shame, to. Very few people can pull off the Audrey Hepburn look and not just plain emaciated, and Sarah ain't one of those few. Somebody should have noticed how thin she was, taken away her salads, and make her eat some real food for awhile. Maybe Nicholus should have shared his meals with her. They would both have benefited.

I get the feeling SMG is a bit of a workoholic. I don't think she's anorexic - it'd be difficult to keep up the energy involved in her work schedule if she was. I agree that simply the stress of the series was probobly a factor in her weight loss. Also, the industry puts a lot of pressure of actresses to be very thin. Also, she started the series when she was pretty young, and often as women age, they sometimes lose some baby fat and thin out. I still think she's very pretty, and seems pretty nice, but yes she could use a little more meat on her bones 😉
 
i've always thought smg attractive, pretty, but not my type. and her hair really bothered me sometimes. i was re-watching seaosn 2 recently, and i'd never quite noticed before that jenny calendar=wow. she's a lot hotter than i remember haha. i think i'd take her over buffy any day.

Yeah, Jenny was a little hot. It always struck me as strange and unnatural when the Scoobies would refer to her as being old or in Giles' age bracket or however it was put seeing as Robia LaMorte is mere couple of weeks older than Charisma Carpenter and less than a year older than Nicholas Brendon.

I definitely agree... I could totally see why Giles was all over it.
When I was in high school watching Buffy, I would have given anything to look exactly like SMG. I thought she was physically perfect and I strived to be her in every way: hairstyles, clothing choices, makeup looks etc. As I'm older, I do think she was way too thin for a lot of the series. I still think she's beautiful, though... She's got such a different look to her. 🙂
 
She was an adorable kid, beautiful young lady, and is a striking adult. She has enough variance from the typical to keep her real (the nose) and interesting to look at. If I was trading bodies with her I would want the season 2 bod (though I think we can all agree the first couple of seasons WB bought stock in wonderbra)but I don't think she ever looked anorexic, a little too slim for me but I don't think she looked sickish.
 
The two features I like best about SMG: Her nose and her eyes. Her nose is unique...and quite frankly, a bit strange. Yet it is very cute and distinct, which is why I like it. I like it in the comics when they get her nose right. I like her eyes too, because they are just so big and expressive, especially in the earlier seasons. Thats why I find that SMG can pull off such a good "perky" attitude because she can smile with her eyes.
 
SMG is a sex bomb. She doesn't look too skinny in recent pics.

Seriously though, I still think she's annoying to look at for a long period of time, maybe I've watched too much Buffy, but I find her one of the most annoying-faced characters in the show, if that's a real thing.
 
IS SMG Hot - IMO YES.

While she does seem a bit skinny in the later seasons of BtVS. She's not overly so. And I agree that her hottest during season 1-3. But She's always been very attractive from the 1st Season on.

As proof -if she's hot - look at her most recent Maxim photo shoot in the 12/07 issue. They even named her their 2008 Woman of the Year. Also think about that no other actress from BtVS or Angel has ever topped or been on the annual most attractive women list of either Maxim or FHM like SMG has.
 
I am pretty sure the strain of doing Buffy coupled with trying to have another career apart from the show is the reason for the weight loss! When Rose McGowan was doing Planet Terror and Charmed's final season she lost too much weight. And she even talked about hating the way she looked. She was tiny winy at the end of the show. This is probably what happend to Sarah as well. I think she (Sarah) looks great now though!
 
Most definently HOT!! I think she looks amazing in S7,but as far as looks/style go,S1 is my favorite.She still had some baby fat on her, short mini skirts,knee high boots,tight fitting, low cut sweaters-daddy likes!!! Okay,okay! I know she was only 16 or 17 when she started filming the series! :drunk: Bad stinkyweasel!! Bad stinkyweasel!!
 
Actually, no she wasn't. She played a character that age but she was definitely of age at the time of Buffy season one. She was born in 1977. Buffy didn't premiere until 1997. That's twenty years and you figure it was probably filmed at most a year before it aired, putting her at age nineteen in season one.

I think she is a small person i know she is around 5ft 2 im short like 4ft 11 and people say to me omg your so small all over, and im thin but being small and thin can come across as i guess anorexic but i eat like alot and work out once a day but i dont think sarah is or was anorexic at all i think she is naturaly thin and she has a small waste too so that could add to why people think she is extra thin if you get me shes is such a pretty woman and her figer through out allll the buffy seasons was great! x in my view anyways lol
