Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant! The 31-year-old actress, and her 33-year-old husband Freddie Prinze Jr., are “very excited,” according to People magazine. The couple has been married for six years, so although the news is very exciting, it is hardly a big surprise.
Sarah Michelle is known around the globe for her role as Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show ran for seven seasons, and fans are hoping the rumors of a full-length feature movie are true. The next movie we will see Sarah Michelle Gellar in is Veronika Decides To Die, which is set for release in November. Currently, Gellar is serving as executive producer for the HBO pilot, The Wonderful Maladays while her hubby, Freddie Prinze recently shot the ABC comedy pilot No Heroics.
Some background information on Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. – the couple started dating in 2000 and on September 1, 2002 they married in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Shankman, a film director and choreographer that worked with Gellar on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Sarah Michelle Gellar legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze as a tribute of the couple’s fifth year of marriage in 2007.

Wow, I hate to say it, but I kinda think anyone would look pregnant in a dress designed like that. Tight bust + flowy skirt = bunchy fabric around the belly, so... I'll just have to wait for real honest-to-goodness pictures of pregnant belly. But it sure is neat to see what she *will* look like in another month or so!
