Welcome Jessica! I must admit Angel didn't appeal to me much at first either, but as I started watching it I grew to love it. In fact, I'd say Angel gets better every time I re-watch it 😉

Hello WakingNightmare!!! Sweet name by the way. You sound awesome! lol 🙂 Your dad must be amazing to have watched Buffy first! Season 2 is a great Buffy Season. I can't imagine watching it without understanding Angel and Buffy's draw to each other! You should definately watch Angel if you want to understand him...and if you like things a little more dark and dangerous with a side of brooding hero. lol No really, that show will make you understand Buffy even more! Oh and everything said above about Angel is true...You should watch it! It didn't appeal to me when they were broadcasting it on tv before, but you'll really like it once you give it a chance. It's got many interesting and loveable characters and you'll have fun with it...
Angel might be dark and brooding and bland, but I love how they don't always take him seriously in his own show. It gave him a platform to really become developed character and I just love it when they make fun of him. Which they do... a lot! XD

Oh, and definitely give Angel a try. I think he's totally boring, but some of his side kicks and enemies are BRILLIANT characters, and definitely worth watching for.

:welcome: Jessica. If you're not convinced about watching Angel the show yet here's another vote for "DO IT!". Yep simple as that. You might not love it but you might and you don't want to risk missing that. Not liking Angel on Btvs is not a good enough reason to avoid it.

DEFINITELY check out Angel!!! The show was awesome, and I can't imagine not having my Angel DVDs alongside my Buffy ones, LOL! So many awesome episodes and story arcs in Angel as well 😉
