I get liking Lindsay, he has charm. I get being sad that he died, I kind of am. I get having problems with Angel having his court jester handle it. However he really deserved what he got and Angel absolutely was in the right to finish him. Lindsay was not apart of the solution.
Same here I am not P.O'd that Angel had Lorne do it I just feel since it happened Angel should have done it. Like Lindsey said you don't take me out Angel takes me out. Plus Lorne is not one to be that way and that is kind of why I liked him saying don't look for me maybe after all this he can be at peace and have a new bar that doesn't get destroyed. 🙂Gotta agree with others here. Lorne's "I've heard you sing" to me was pretty much saying Lindsey has given them that "same old song and dance" before. So, Angel had him taken care of before it happened again.
I'm just indifferent about it. I love Lorne so much and I hate that Angel had him to do it, but it was never something that made me incredibly P.O'd at Angel. It was shocking and I couldn't believe he did it, but I guess I do get it. For the most part.

That is a different way of looking at it and it makes complete sense. All the fighting that was happening for Angel example Marcus he didn't have time for Lindsey and Lorne doing it was a complete blindside so from that point of view it is good.I do feel sorry for Lorne having to do that but from Angel's side it was a bloody brilliant move.
I mean he didn't have time for starters to engage in some fight to the death with a minor threat (compared to the army from hell)
And also simply put... Lindsey didn't see it coming, as I'm sure was the plan.
Besides that whole "Angel kills me" line from Lindsey just plays into how much weight he puts into power once more. He wants the powerful guy to kill him, his 'archnemesis' if you will, because he thinks he's important enough to warrant Angel's attention for that.
But sorry dude, to Angel you were a footnote in that fight. Not the headline.
Some indeterminate point in the future? Second chance? You sir are short sighted.
Lindsay had a chance, when the blind chick was trying to kill the kids. He went back to WR&H.
Lindsay had a second chance, when he and Angel took down the body farm, Angel let him go and said never come back or it's curtains for you.
Lindsay then came back three years later. Not only did he come back but he put a mole in Angels office and hatched a plan specifically and with malicious intent to firstly destroy Angels sense of self, then kill him. He impersonated Doyle, tried to have some crazy bug kill Angel, tried to have Spike kill Cordelia, then he tried to release some huge tentacle monster to kill Angel and then he decided to just try to stab him to death with a sword.
He only agreed to help Angel after he broke him out of prison and promised him the chance to run WR&H because Lindsay was 'the devil he knew.'

What happened to this Angel that we had got to know throughout 8 seasons?
