So You Think You Can Dance

I watched some reruns of this the other night. It's actually a pretty interesting show. I had only watched it to see the auditions, because those are the best parts.

There are definitely some people that I really like. I like Donyelle and Benji. Also Ivan. He's great!
 
I liked Ashlee. I thought she was really great with Dmitry. But a pop-and-locker really couldn't win this competition. She was never great with any of her routines. Although, I really loved her and Dmity's contemporary. But she was still really good at what she did, so I'm not that upset. She just wasn't right for this stage in the competition.

Alison and Donyelle just might win it, if a girl wins. And Benji and Travis just might win if it's a guy. They're definitely the front runners right now. 🙂
 
If Dmitry DOES NOT get voted out tomorrow it will be a total lack of respect to the other 4 guys. He was stiff, scared to do lifts with Donyelle and most importantly he only has one facial expression. And thankyou Nigel about the open shirts!!! It's a talent competition not a night at Chip n' Dales!
I think Martha is the female to go.
Donyelle could break her leg and dance like a pro with a cast on! She has the goods!!!
 
I think Martha and Ryan are leaving tonight. They didn't do much to make me pick up the phone and were a tad boring. At least Dmitry is funny (with that other Russian guy) and looks damn good. 🙂
 
THANK YOU! The Chip n' Dale portion of the contest is now over and now lets watch some great dancers.
I am not sorry to see Dmitry go. IMO he should have been gone with Ashlee. The judges should have figured it out when he kept loosing his partners week after week that he can only dance solo sans shirt!
Martha was the right choice but next week it will be interesting.
 
Aww, I'm going to miss Dmitry and his hot bod. I guess he was the right guy to leave, but still. And were they serious about a tour with the top ten? Cause, I would definitely pay to see that.

I don't want to see Natalie go next week! I love her too damn much ...

I think it's obvious who the final four will be, though: Donyelle, Benji, Alison, and Travis. As it should be, I guess. 😀

I think Heidi is better then Alison. Heidi was in full blown panic attack over that contemporary number and she nailed it! Not to mention her solo.
I think the only thing that could go wrong is Donyelle's toe. It kept her out of last nights opening again. I hope it holds up for another month because she is great.
Benji is the definite fav to win the guys category. I think once the competition is down to the last 4 competitors Celine Dion would be nuts not to hire all 4 of them for her Vegas show.
 
Heidi had a beautiful contempory with Travis, that's not a question. I just think Alison has the grace, the talent, the drive ... I've loved every solo she's ever done. Her contemporary with Ivan a couple weeks ago was the best routine I've seen all season long.

I would just rather see her in the finale than Heidi, just personally.

Well Buffetofsporks who do you think should be in the final and why?
Me it's a toss up between Donyelle and Heidi but you know what anyone of those 4 girls tonight could have easily won this contest. I am totally amazed at all of them but Donyelle's best compliment was when she did a hip-hop number the judges said it was good she did that because they had forgotten what her style of dance was that got her into the competition.
For the guys I see Benji, very versatile in all styles, winning it but when I saw Travis pull Heidi thru that amazing contemporary dance last week he got huge respect from me.
I just hope that next week each couple is given dance's totally out of their style. If they do flaws will be seen and hopefully America picks the best dancers not the popular dancers.
 
Well, I thought Alison would've been the winner for sure. She was the best female hands down, in my opinion.

I think it's safe to say Donyelle will be in the finale. Along with Benji. Ever since their first hip-hop routine, America's loved them. Although, I think Benji will win, Donyelle's my favorite out of the two.
 
Yeah Benji definitely has the victory for the male side but Travis is definitely going to give him a run for the crown. But damnnn it is going to be one hell of a vote for best female!
Donyelle's booty bounces faster then a superball and Heidi's hips swivels faster then the hinge on a gate in a windstorm!
Heidi has slightly better moves then Donyelle but Donyelle's personality has always seperated her from the rest of the pack.
 
Well Benji took the crown. My wife is happy her guy won but I was pulling for Travis.
I found it odd that during the 2 hour finale the dancer the judges wanted to see Travis dance more then Benji.
Does anyone think that maybe the judges were trying to tell the voters that maybe as good and enthusiastic that Benji was Travis was the better dancer and to look at the talent not the popularity of a dancer next year when they vote.
I know that if it wasn't for Travis Heidi would have crashed if he hadn't of pulled her through that contemporary dance with the flower and bench. Not to mention the contemporary with the African theme.
My wife did admit that Benji did not have to do a contemporary and when he did hip-hop man he gave white-bread a whole new definition. The only hip-hop that Benji was good in was the nerdy one he did with Travis.
Ah oh well at least IMO Travis will have a far better career then Benji.
 
nearly cried when Benji won. he's so nerdy and sexy and dancy and um...and i'm gonna marry him (im gonna have to be a polygamist with all these people i say im gonna marry 🙂 )
