I'm sure every single person has his own weird quirkies. Some we're ashamed of. Some are just funny and strange. Do you have those?

I, for example, CANNOT put on my left shoe before the right one. It's just really hard for me. Also, we have a few kinds of spoons in our spoons drawer. There is a particular kind that I CANNOT use. Even if there are no clean ones from the ones I like, I will not take the spoons I don't like. It's not a matter of dislikeness, it's just that I can't. In my brain I'm not able to. I can't reach my hand out, take the spoon and use it.

I'm sure I have more, because I'm pretty quirky myself. But those are what I could think of right now.

I can't drive. I'm 23 and I refuse to drive. I have this OCD where I MUST count the lines on the road while i'm in the car. So yeah, disaster!

Also, I like to drink my hot cocoa with cheddar cheese in it.

I'm with ya on the spoons bit. I can't use large spoons. It always has to be the smaller cute looking spoons.

I remember when I had to (okay, had a strong urge to) count the lines. Thank God I'm over that now. Frustrating. I feel for you.

I'm the opposite. I prefer the bigger spoons
I have issues with small fruit. Especially dark colored ones, like blueberries or raisins. I'm not allergic or anything, I just feel...mentally uncomfortable when I eat them. It's so weird I can't even describe it properly, haha.

Nice new avi, Jenny.
I dislike germs. A lot. But it depends on the situation. If there's no other choice, I'll use a public toilet, without putting paper on the seat or anything. And I'll be fine. I might not even care about showering as soon as I get the chance. But if I'm at home, and someone else uses my toilet, it's hard for me not to clean it. Immediatly. And the floor around it. Yet I almost never wash my sheets, even though there must be so many germs there by now.

I also pick my nose. I've begun recently and I've gotten really addicted to it. I usually start bleeding after a while. That won't stop me from seeing if there's something else I can dig out of there.

I check the look about 3 times per night. Sometimes I think "Did I check it or not? I recall checking it. But that could be a memory from yesterday." So I go up and check it. yet I often leave the stove on.

I daydream a lot. I even start whispering into the air sometimes. Sometimes in public. Often in public, my family has told me. I live alone, friendless, far away from my family, It gets lonely. [Note to self: Don't have sex/kissing fantasies in public. I've had them before. I bet that must have looked aweful. Specially in class.]

HAHA counting the lines on the road. I understand that because (you reminded me) I have an obsession with counting. Like when I'm about to go to sleep, I have to turn off the tv just on the time I'm aiming for (say I want to go to sleep in 12:45 AM I will wait for that EXACT second to turn off the tv. I don't go to sleep without looking at the digital shiny clock radio and knowing the exact time. Then I count the minutes that I've been trying to fall asleep. I can't stop looking at the clock every few minutes, just so I know how much time it takes me to fall asleep. Oh, and it gets worse! And now you'll think I'm a true freak. I have timing games to keep me busy until I fall a sleep. With points and all. Such as: if the digit changes within the next 10 seconds. If it did, I score a point. If I don't I lose a point. And I have many many falling asleep games like this. And I always have to know the time and I time everything. Seriously, everything.

I don't want to learn to drive. Partly because I daydream way too much. Could get ugly. Also, I'm lazy and a bad student. I mean, I can fake knowing stuff, like a history test, learn it then forget it, but driving you HAVE to learn or you die. And like I said, daydreaming. It's a addiction, the daydreaming. Bad baaaad one. But my sister is about 30, has two kids, and mananges without. Could be because her ex-husband drive the kids to places and our brother lives near and also has a car... But the public transportation is pretty good in Sweden (atleast when they're no or little snow) so I think I'll manage.

I don't drink coffee or tea. Coffee is gross. I haven't tried many sorts, but black coffee is gross, and with milk. I think I tried two other kinds, but they were meh. Might as well order hot cocoa. Don't need to get addicted to coffee as I have candy anyway. Tea tastes better, but not unless it has a lot of suger in it. It's too tasteless.

How do you do it?! I count obsessively! It's to the point where I can't do a lot of basic things. I count the steps it takes for me to get from the car (passenger seat of course) to the house door. I'll count how many gulps I take of a drink. I'll count anything and it's one of the reasons I have insomnia. I just cannot start counting sheep because it'll never end and then It's 9 am and i'm still awake going "wtf".

Two nights ago, I really really really didn't want to sleep. And I guess I put that into my head, that I don't want to sleep. So I caused myself insomnia. I convinced myself that I don't want to sleep, so I didn't fall asleep, at all. I went to sleep just the night after. Feeling stupid causing myself insomnia on purpose.

I'm a little OCD. I have to check things, sometimes 3 or 5 times before I'm reassured and can relax. So that's weird, I guess. I hate running out of things so I get stuff a little before running out. I'll even bug my dad about it.

I've always been told I'm weird when I talk to myself (I don't answer back) and they ask "Who are you talking to?" then I'd answer the person "Myself."

I do both of those things too
Even if I hate something with a passion if I start watching it I have to finish.

If I rewind something when watching it I have to do it the 2 speed twice then the 1 speed this applies to fast forwarding as well.

When I read the info I have to do it at least twice.

I can't let people borrow my tv shows on DVD's I can't even let them mess up the order I just can't do it. I used to be ok but now now there is no hope in that department.

When I did my first few re-watches of Angel and some shows I would have to say the writer and directors name five times in my head.

@ Abbey I am right there with you I do that all the time. I will even go as far as bursting out laughing and that applies to when I am also thinking.

loling at nothing is my specialty. Not sure if it's weird. People recall funny things sometimes. Like Xander in Tabula rasa.
I cant drink Milk without a straw. If i drink it without one I instantly start throwing up.

I have anxiety whenever I leave the house. When I go to a place like a Mall I'd start to dry heave so I must have a drink with me at all times.

At work I sing under my breath and people think I'm talking to myself. Another case of me talking to myself is when I play videogames. Because I've been alone most of my life I'd start saying things to myself like "Woah, did you see that?" "Nah, I'll go and get this and bring it back here" "I don't think I should have done that!".

I'm very protective over my things, no one gets to borrow my DVD's or Games without an
equivalent exchange. My Whedon DVD's are like my children.

I hate to be in big crowds like at the mall it makes me so anxious I start to itch.
I can not do the spock thing with my right hand, my fingers will just not move that way.
I can not seperate my toes, again they will not move that way.
My ring toe on my left foot, the bones are not allined correctly so it is like a sideways V and wjen I leave a foot print it looks like I only have 4 toes.
I can not drink milk plain except cocolate milk, I get sick if I dont drink it with cocolate.
I easly become obbessed with things, then I latch on to them (It was Cats, Twilight, Bones, Lady Gaga, Buffy, Dollhouse, Buffy) and they are all that matter to me.
If I ask myself a question I will answer.
That is all I can think of right now.

Dude, I'm the same way with obsession
Skytteflickan88 agrees: Buying stuff before it runs out sounds healthy.

It is. There'll be 9 rolls left of Toliet paper and then I start bugging my dad about getting more. That's what I do.lol. It drives me crazy to feel even that close to running out.

Car related weird.

Sometimes, I will try to park my car perfectly in a parking space even when my car is in between the lines.

At night, I will sit in the car for an extra minute or two to make sure my car lights are off before stepping out of the car. Too afraid that I didn't turn off the lights even though it's never happened to me.

I will lock my car more than once. But I've gotten better and only try to lock the door two - three times.

No one wants to run out of toilet paper. Ever. lol
Guys, reading this thread, I realize we might be weird, but we're normal. I think someone, who has no quirks at all, are the weirdest. Or least abnormal. So really, we're not weird...

Feels both good and scary to know I'm not alone. I wouldn't want to meet me in a dark alley. Specially if I'm daydreaming about kissing someone while remembering a funny joke. I must look freaky.

I LOVE the History Channel too!!!
ummmm.... well, im 29 and Im a virgin, a lot of people think that is weird.... but I kind of dont, its a choice.....not a religious choice, it just is... im a bit of a loner, and I like my a own space.... is also the reason I havnt had a boyfriend since I was in HS....

I dont drink...(well, I dont get drunk) I have a fear of losing control, and not knowing how I will be drunk really freaks me out. It applys to more then drinking, im freaked out about having my wisdom teeth out, because they put you out, and i'm not in control...

I shake my leg al the time without knowing it, people always yelling me that im "shaking everything" Especially in the car on long car trips.

Thats all I can think of right now....

I do the leg shaking thing.
-So I do what Alie does with obsession.. I get obsessed with things really quickly and I learn all about them and they become all I care about. My most recent obsession (thanks to VH) is Veronica Mars, Logan Echolls, and the LoVe relationship. To illustrate my "learning all about them," did you know Jason Dohring's dad is the chairman of neopets.com? How amazing is that?! Not only did Jason Dohring play Logan, his dad is the chairman of neopets.
-I pretty much have to sing along with a song I like. On the bus, this creates conflict. So often I lip sync to my songs on the bus. I also enjoy dancing to my songs and I'm an actress at heart, I act while I sing. This looks very strange on the bus. I do not care, actually scratch that... I do. I LOVE it when new people stare at me and point.
-I love the spotlight. In middle school, I decided it was better to be made fun of if I tried to get made fun of than to not... so I made a game. I tried to be as outrageous as I could be to get people's attention. I stopped doing that in high school. However, my reputation from middle school carried over to high school and since I'm naturally a strange person, people were obsessed with me. I could update my facebook status via text message at 9 and by 9:40 when we got out of class, everyone knew it. If you went to my high school when I did, you knew me.. or at least of me and what I looked like. Because of this, I got a taste of fame... I miss it so much. I miss people around me just knowing who I am. I miss people not having to ask my name. I miss the random people I don't even know stopping me to say "hey Zoà«!" I miss it all. So every time I get the spotlight and I get to let new strangers know who I am, I love it.
-I'm ADHD but I HATE medication. I feel it cuts me and my creative potential in at least half. I'm so dull on the medicine. I've tried several different ones and I just can't find one that doesn't kill most of what makes me love me. I love that my mind is always wondering and that I can actually think about two things at one time. That's my favorite thing about me... and all of the medicine kills that. Of course, that's what it's designed to do.
-Oh yeah, my mind is always wondering and I can think about more than one things at a time. This allows me to often get past the delimma of cognitive dissonance. Most people cannot hold two opposing ideas in their head at a time, but I can. WIN ME!
-I can be super arrogant, although I try not to. I do kinda share Buffy's superiority complex and the inferority complex about the superiority complex. I struggle with this every day.
-I get attached to people quickly. Maybe too qickly
-I'm having too much fun with this so I'm going to stop for now.

I don't think I'm weird.

- I can't be around people when they eat fruit. I can eat fruit myself and I like it, but when other people do it, the smell of it is disgusting. Especially bananas, if someone eats one I have to leave the room.

- I have to say some things out loud so I know I've done them, like "I'm closing the refrigerator" and "I'm turning off the oven"... or "I'm locking the door".. but I say it in Swedish..If I don't I'll run back and check several times.

- I like to go to bed with my socks on, and then I take them off, and it feels really great. Like a little feeling of freedom for my feet.

I completely agree with the drinking thing. I don't drink either and I have that exact same fear. Losing control, not knowing how I'll be when I'm actually drunk. That's how I've always felt at the thought of drinking enough to get drunk and etc.

I shake my leg a lot w/o knowing as well. Drives my mother crazy and she'll put a hand on my leg. Even my friend told me not to do it at the movie theater because it shakes the chairs.

If I angle my leg the wrong way, it starts shaking and I can't stop it. if I shift, it stops. Annoying.
