Some new hints about Twilight (spoilers?)

Of course... does Joss really want a guy in a Darth Vader-like suit saying "Buffy... I am your father."

After reading what Georges said and taking into consideration Twilight's comment when Buffy tried to disect him, I think Twilight is one of the people who was in the room when she told them she made "juliene preacher"...so to me that leaves Xander, Giles and Andrew (and Dawn but she has clearly been otherwise occupied to be Twilight). I think Twilight is faaar too camp to be Giles so I'm back to my original choice of Xander and him possibily being in cahoots with Andrew.

Can't be Xander. Twilight was watching him and Dawn fighting the snake-demons at the end of Time of Your Life.

Andrew it is then...which would really make his and Buffy's recent bonding make more sense and the Twilight reveal have more of an impact.
 
There was also Angel (who was unconscious when Buffy took out Caleb, but saw the results) and Caleb himself, who might have come back somehow.

I used to think it was Andrew, but is he really that good an actor?
 
Well we know Angel is that good an actor but I really don't think it is him. It just doesn't make sense on any level, especially since he was in Hell for alot of S8 right?

To be honest none of the people we have mentioned really make sense.

Honestly, I don't know. I am very confused by the timelines. I mean if we take Angel's fame coinciding with Harmony's 'outing' of it would suggest that part of ATF took place during the earlier parts of S8. But that's just a guestimation.
 
Well, we know from Andrew's pop-culture references in the #23 previews that season 8 is now set in 2008 or 2009. And AtF took place right after the end of "Not Fade Away," and only wound up taking a split-second of real-world time. So AtF was over long before season 8 even started.

That means a lot might have happened with Angel between then and now. The Aftermath issues of AtF (starting with #18, out tomorrow) carry on the story, but Joss isn't involved and I doubt he'll be bound by what Angel does in those issues.

My main arguments against Twilight=Angel(us) are that a) it would be too obvious, and b) they've already done the "Angel goes evil and turns against Buffy" thing, and c) Georges Jeanty seemed to indicate that he didn't know anything yet about Angel's appearance in season 8.

(Which must be a relief, if you're a Bangel shipper).

On the other hand, it was ANGELUS who went evil before. If ANGEL suddenly sold out to the dark side, it would be a completely different thing.

He was always the one who no one remembered. He would come up with a name like "Twilight" and would say "Always crying, slayer" or whatever Twilight said in "A Beautiful Sunset."

But who is the "closest" betrayal?

Shouldn't we take Twilight's physical appearance into account? He's noticeably bigger than Buffy, athletically built and he has a square jaw. I'd say Spike would be the absolute smallest Buffyverse character that could fit that bill, and even he would be a stretch.

I strongly suspect Giles, but I don't like that idea. Twilight's inflicted a lot of damage, and Giles' whole deal is doing whatever it takes so the least amount of people have to get hurt. Giles & Xander both seem somewhat likely, but I don't like the notion.

Its someone who is close to Buffy - and how much closer is someone than the person of their dreams.
Also, Twilight - that is the time of day just before sunrise (or after sunset) BUT when I worked for a summer on a farm, I was told the best time to milk a cow is just before sunrise.

What is one thing you can do with milk?
