I kinda think that the song "F*** Was I Thinking" by Jenny Owen Youngs nicely represents Buffy's relationships, particularly with Spike.

Don't wanna post the link here since there is a certain curse word used several times (apologies for the title) in it, but if you YouTube it, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding it.

I originally heard it while watching Weeds. I love that show too! 🙂

Wow I can't believe someone else said 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' 😛 Each time I hear it it make me think of Angel! And also another thing, the scene in s5 where Fred(who's drunk) yell at some demon 'THAT'S RIGHT YOU WALK ALONE' lol :giggle:

Yay me 😀 Haha, you're right, it kinda fits Angel too.

!!!!! I checked the update on this thread and seeing this I had to listen to the song again and damn I can see that song playing in the background with Angel walking 😛

I just watched the episode, A Hole in the World, S5 of Angel, and the scenes with Wesley and Fred reminded me a lot of the song "Blue Lips" by Regina Spektor.

He stumbled into faith and thought,
"God, this is all there is?"
The pictures in his mind arose,
And began to breathe.
And all the gods and all the worlds
Began colliding on a
Backdrop of
Blue.

Blue lips,
Blue veins.

He took a step, but then felt tired.
He said, "I'll rest a little while."
But when he tried to walk again,
He wasn't a child.
And all the people hurried fast,
Real fast,
And no one ever smiled.

Blue lips,
Blue veins.
Blue,
The color of our planet from far, far away.

He stumbled into faith and thought,
"God, this is all there is?"
The pictures in his mind arose,
And began to breathe.
And no one saw, and no one heard.
They just followed the lead.
The pictures in his mind arose,
And began to breed.

They started out beneath the knowledge tree.
Then they chopped it down to make white picket fences,
And, marching along the railroad tracks,
They smile real wide for the camera lenses.
They made it past the enemy lines
Just to become enslaved in the assembly lines.

Blue lips,
Blue veins.
Blue,
The color of our planet from far, far away.

Blue,
The most human color.
Blue,
The most human color.
Blue,
The most human color...

Blue lips,
Blue veins.
Blue,
The color of our planet from far, far away.

The ultimate for me will always be I Will Remember You by Sophie Zelmani. It was the first moment I saw of the show where I was like, wow, this is too good. Now everytime I listen to one of Sophie's albums, I immediately think of Buffy.
