Songs you´re ashamed to admit that you love

I've got to go with my ultimate guilty pleasure - The Partridge Family - I think I love you!
Just a daggy classic that always has a special place in my heart!

It is darn catchy, and I don't know why you should be ashamed to admit that 🙂

I generally am not ashamed of things, especially not my taste in music/movies/TV shows/etc. I recently became a Britney fan, I mean, come on, Gimme More and Piece of Me are great party songs, you have to admit! Also, Standing in the Way of Control by Gossip, great song to dance to.. Many Spice Girls songs, and even Backstreet Boys (though I never used to listen to them when I was 10-11 and they were popular among my friends). Hm, what else..? I just am not ashamed much, I guess...
 
I can't say I'm really ashamed to admit to liking any songs, because everyone knows I generally have awful taste. I guess I get wierd looks in work for singing songs like 'Boom Boom Boom Boom' by the Vengaboys and have had people say they never thought I'd like 'That's Not My Name' by The Ting Tings, because they thought I had 'better taste'. Clearly not. Sometimes you just wanna dance, sometimes you want to cry until you can't breathe. No reason to like music is better than another *shrugs*
 
I can never be ashamed for liking a song... but i think i am a little less inclined to tell people that i love Electricity by Elton John. I know... shoot me now! ha ha. Its because its from the Billy Elliot stage show and i bloomin' love it!
Oh and not to mention Busted... i still listen to them now. Maybe something i dont tell my friends all that often. Brings back so many memories though! ha ha!

I [/I]love[/I] Standing in the Way of Control! It's a great song, even the really long version. Plus, Skins is one of my favourite programs ever, so it gets extra respect points. That isn't an embarrasing song to like though. Not where I'm from, anyway.

the gossip are great and before my hardrive died i had like 11 different versions of standing in the way of control
 
Here's my thought on the question:
Songs you´re ashamed to admit that you love.

I can name some right off the bat.
"It's a small world after all"
"Zip-a-dee-doo-dah"
"Yo-Ho! A pirate's life for me"
"The tiki tiki tiki" song

It's just unseemly and embarrassing to sing these anywhere but while in a Disney Park (or the shower).
I would define that as "ashamed".

I'm not ashamed to post this on this board, but if I were to post it on the MJ forums I'm on, then I'd be very ashamed of it... "Just Lose It" by Eminem. I love that song, I feel bad being a Michael fan and liking that song though...

I'm a metal-head through and through, but this song is sooooo cool. We sing it all the time in the changing's on game-day or rugby.

Ugh I just thought of another one that I am cringing at the thought of - Good Charlotte, the young and the restless. My sister had it a few years back... somehow ended up on my collection and I havent chucked it yet. And what Is worse - I know all the words.

I think most of my music collection would probably be fairly embarrassing to most people, but I love it all!
however, in certain circumstances I'm ashamed to have Miley Cyrus come blasting out of my speakers

LOL, Nobody's Perfect seems to be popular. ...I REALLY hate Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, but this song's really catchy... I'm too embarrassed to tell my friends I like that song, lol.
 
I checked my Ipod & I think the fact that Il Divo & Sarah Brightman are standing on it, is also bit ashaming to me 😛 & that the Tarzan & Brother Bear soundtrack is standing on it too (but it's especially for Phil Collins)

This is the first time ive admited i like these songs/artists to anyone coz they're all embarressing
