Southland Tales: Will it ever be seen?

i dont go with the general consensus... kinda not a johnny movie goer and the general consensus of anything has no worth artistically (people seeing a film in droves is good for the execs for the money but nothing else). Never spoken to anyone who's had a bad thing to say about donnie darko, i love the film... and it gets better with each viewing.

I have to say that after reading this thread for the first time my curiosity was totally piqued and I had to borrow the film and the graphic novels. And I even did it backward and watched the movie before I read the prequels and I loved them both - I really didn't have trouble understanding what was going on and I didn't find it boring in the slightest. My only wish is that SMG hadn't hammed up her character quite so much in certain scenes... and I am sad that some of the psychic ability bits were dropped from the film. Overall, though, I was quite pleased with it! I think it's certainly worth giving a look.

I watched this today believe it or not and I thought - wow this is weird.. interesting but weird.

It's one of those movies that I'm going to have to watch over and over again, like 12 Monkey's, before I get the story to make sense in my head... okay, I'll admit I'm old.. and there's not much space in my brain for new stuff without loosing something... but after watching Southland Tales for the first time my head hurts... time for some painkillers and a dose of Spike singing "Let me Rest in Peace!".
