Totally true, but that's all a part of growing up. So if Dawn and Spike were to end things because she realized she didn't truly love him it'd be okay. No harm, no foul, cause it's not like Spike is going to pull an Angel and start killing everyone if Dawn slept with him 😀

I just feel wierd about the pursuing of a relationship that plays in that territory. Because I, myself, at the time, never liked the idea of my actions being governed by emotions that aren't real and just a product of my young age. It was a frustrating feeling, to doubt what I felt, and why I thought I felt it. It made me quite unwilling to act on a lot of things.

What do I think? Well, I think this has to be the most unfortunate 'ship name in the fandom.

Really, though - I enjoy Spike and Dawn's platonic relationship.
