Spike or Angel?

I think Angel will get the shanshu stuff...or maybe both of them,...i don't think Spike will shanshu and Angel will keep being a vamp...
 
What about neither?

Or did you mean, "If someone Shanshus, who will it be?".

In that case what about; someone other than Angel or Spike?

Harmony gets ensouled. What a weird plot twist that would be. Or maybe someone completely new will turn up.

Given the 2 choices though, I would choose Spike. It can't be Angel, unless it's the last episode of the series. Angel as a human, would have to mean the end of ATS.
 
Angel. It should be Angel, for it not to be would be a complete let down after they've been building it up that way for all these Seasons. And I don't want both to get it, Spike has a soul and thats good enough.

Whistler: It wasn't supposed to go down like this. (moves away from the wall) Nobody saw you coming. I figured this for Angel's big day. But I thought he was here to *stop* Acathla, not to bring him forth. Then you two made with the smoochies... now he's a creep again. Now, what are you gonna do? W-what are you prepared to do?

Seems like this was an opportunity for Angel to become human.

Obviously later on in Ats s1, from I Will Remember You, then with the last two eps for that season.

Angel: "It was the demon's blood. It wasn't the Powers-That-Be that did this?"
Man: "The Powers-That-Be? Did you save humanity? Avert the Apocalypse?"
Woman: "You faced a Mohra demon. Life goes on."

Blind Date

Wesley takes the metal tube out of the open briefcase.
Wesley: "Angel, what's this?"
Angel: "I'm not sure."
Wesley pulls a roll of parchment out of the tube and unrolls it part way.
Wesley: "Ancient Aramaic, if I'm not mistaken."
Cordy puts a disk into the zip drive.
Angel: "Yeah?"
Wesley: "Was there a reason you took this?"
Angel: "Yeah."
Wesley: "And that would be..."
Angel: "I - I don't really know."

I dont see them going back on all of this when it's been built up so much over the years.
 
Angel defiently should, Spike no way. If Spike did it, it would just suck, it was meant for Angel as he was the first vamp to have a soul.
 
It should be Angel that becomes human....But I can see it being Spike for some reason. But if Spike gets to be human I will not be happy!...at all!
 
Yes, I'd be really dissappointed and betrayed because here I've been sitting, waiting for Angel to get his Shansu. I want happiness for Angel. He's been through so much, so many years of torture, sacrifice and deserves this much.
 
I think they'll both Shanshu.

I have a theory that I posted a long ways back in another thread, but I think they will both Shanshu because:

I think that Angel and Spike are actually the same person. Two halves split in two. Once the prophecy is fulfilled, they will finally become one person (who probably will end up being Joss Whedon or something odd and twisted like that).
 
Angel or Both. Angel has to shanshu for Buffy, and Spike... I just feel sorry for the poor *******.

Would be wild if Harmony'd shanshu!

Sekhment2k1: I've thought about that before, it would be one hell of a twist, but I wonder how that'd work out. (Why use spoilertags btw, this is speculation, not a spoiler, right?)

That'd piss me off seriously...I think that Spike has to wait like 50 more years to become human at least...
 
It'd be killer if Harmony shanshued. I mean, wouldn't that just throw everyone off? I'd love it.

But obviously, I have to go with Angel. Do I even need reasons?
 
Sekhmet2k1, that's a new idea i've heard...I think it will be either Angel or both. It's been building it up for three seasons that Angel will Shansu, but I don't think Joss would want to offend either of the fans if he only made one of them human either. I can't see him making Spike the only one who turns human, because this propechy was only mentioned in Angel. Joss couldn't have possibly thought in season 1 that he would eventually bring Spike to the Angel show. And as much as I want Spike to be happy, Spike turning human would totally change his character. he'd lose his Spike-ness that makes his character who he is.

Although I wouldn't put it past Joss to make it Harmony. Just to throw people off and prove that nothing is set in stone in Angel. Anything can happen.
 
I dont think Joss would care about the fans reactions if only one of them shanshued, he would probably be worried about offending fans if Angel didnt shanshu because this whole thing started on Angel, not Buffy. And David has already said that he wouldnt mind doing a season of Angel with Angel being human. James has already said that he wouldnt want Spike to be human.
