Spike With A Soul In Season 6

If spike had his soul, S6 Buffy would be very different from the dark, emotionally charged season that I love so much. Spuffy would probably not happened, or if it did, it would be the same kind of twilight-esque relationship similar to the one that angel and buffy had, the kind that i hate so much. Or, Buffy would have reatreated way farther into herself and her depression because she would have no one to completely let go with; and instead of having the emotionally complex season 6 buffy, she would instead ultimately self-destruct. Even though there are some spuffy scences that I wish to forget, if spike hadn't been the bad-ass vamp that buffy could just let go with, without fear, we wouldn't have seen the wonderful development of their relationship in S7.

I think their love would have ended differently. I think she would have realized what a good man he was earlier than she did. I don't think she would have denied it so much and definitely wouldn't have used him like she did, though she really did have feelings for him all along. I hope she wouldn't have been so hard on herself. I hate how much Spike was tormented by both Buffy and her friends. As much as she irritated me, Dawn was the only one that saw Spike how he was: a good man. Spike was good with or without a soul, but Buffy might have realized that sooner had he gained it by the time she came back.
