Spike's blond hair - goody or ridiculous?

Spike went through a few hair colors and styles, both as Spike and William. But I'm asking about his blond hair only. Some would say his blonde hair is ridiculous. But some would say it's cool and fits him. So do you find his hair as a good choice or a joke on his expense?
 
Spike with out blonde hair thats all gelled back? No way, that would not be Spike. Might as well take away his duster and boots while you are at it.
 
It suits him, but around season 7 he had curly, longer, blonde hair, which was kind of...well, not very...ya know, impressive 😀
 
I thought it looked stupid at first. I don't know if it was just me watching in the year 2010 or something, but the bleached blonde look on guys was not very appealing to me...after a while, I got used to it, and i'd say that it really suits him now. I don't know if I'd like it on anyone else but him though.
 
Another question about his blonde hair.
Do you think it makes him seem more evil? I mean, Spike without his blond hair, would he still have that look of a bad boy everybody should look out for? Do you think he's dying his hair that way in order to seem more dangerous?

Also, I think James Marsters is hot, no matter what colour hair he has. But when he's got the bleach-blond hair? Sexy as hell.
 
I think it suits him. But, if I saw him on the street and didn't know anything about him (not likely, lol 😉 ), I would think he looks absolutely ridiculous.
 
I heard someone describe Spike's hair as Ramen Noodle hair not too long ago, now thats all I think of when I see Spike. 🙂
 
As a villain and as a good guy, I love his blonde hair. It works well for his character and his look, so that's what makes it awesome. On anyone else, I think it would look ridiculous. But, Spike (more so James) works it. 🙂
 
I loved it. It really made Spike because it was so crazy... OBVIOUSLY compensating for something (William). That's so Spike. He was a ridiculous character full of ridiculous mannerisms and quirks and that's what made him so real. Because he was compensating for the bleeding heart weepy poet inside.

LMAO Ramen noodles! Lol, I actually don't mind so much when his hair looks like that, but I do prefer it when it's messy and not so noodle-y. Like how it looks in Intervention in the scene with the Buffybot. Love it. 😀
 
I think it's hilariously ridiculous, but it totally suits him. And like someone else has already said, you take that away from and you might as well take the duster, the boots, and his whole persona while you're at it. That hair, as ridiculous as it may be, is so very Spike and you can't just take it away.

Love his hair. It fits his personality perfectly and as a whole he is so hott lol and the hair is a big part of it.

Spikes style is SO not my type, I'm more of an Angel/Riley type girl but something about spike is verry sexy and the hair is perfect for that role.

Omg yeah JM is so hott. But the bleach blonde, British accented, guitar slinging, singing his heart out James/Spike is seriously sexy.

Hard to believe he wasn't all that in high school huh? He wasn't that handsome popular guy that all the girls wanted. And I'm saying to those girls: "na na na na na!" 😀
