Was Loki under the thrall of the Tesseract via the spear as we saw Clint and Selvig were? And it took the funny Hulk smash to get it out of his head (like we saw on the others)? I mean he was too much of an muhaha evil

Both Joss and Tom Hiddleston said they were making Loki more "Muhahah" Evil this movie, that was their intention

Im a huge Marvel comic nerd... i loved the overall movie... but thought Captains outfit looked rediculous and out of place

Just saw it on the weekend, I loved it! Great to see Joss Whedons name on the big screen. I walked out and said to my boyfriend (who is not really a fan) "Look what Joss can do with a big budget!"

I didnt know if I would like it as I have never seen Ironman, wasnt that impressed with the Hulk, fell asleep in Captain America but I LOVED Thor. So Im glad I really enjoyed it. I think I am in the minority here in that I didnt really care too much about Black Widow and Hawkeye, I wanted their interactions to be over with so I could see the rest of the characters 😛 But perhaps with a second of third viewing when I know what is going to happen next, I may be more interested.

I really liked the Ironman character, I want to see that movie now, and I have to see Thor again since I have only seen that once (seeing it again tonight!).

Cant wait to see it again!

We saw it for a second time the other week, this time the 5 year old fell asleep and LOVED it! When it moves to the Dollar Theater we'll see it again and definitely plan on buying the DVD.

I still can't get which character is voiced by Alexis Denisof- can someone tell me? And do we have confirmation on who the villain is at the end?

Alexis didn't just voice him, to my understanding he was in full on makeup. He plays "The Other," it's the guy that Loki was talking to in the beginning, and also the guy who spoke to the big bad in the mid credit scene.

As for who that big bad is, it is Thanos. Kevin Feige and Joss both confirmed it. Though we may not see him in Avengers 2 - Kevin has hinted that he'd be saved for a Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

I know! They could make it happen if they wanted to, but I think they want to keep it in theaters for as long as possible, given how much money it's making. Have you heard about the 10 disc "Marvel Phase One" set they are coming out with?

If they make one of those 2 (DVD) or 3 discs (Blu-Ray) specials I'm so getting it!!!! I can't get enough with only one disc of extras!!!! XD

Hehe, well, like I said, they have the 10 disk-er coming out, which has some more extras not on any of the blu-ray sets or the dvd set. As far as these movies have gone though, with the lacking special features on the DVDs, your best bet is getting the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack in the Blu ray packaging. LOL, understandably so. I'm on the fence about whether I should get it or not. I'm waiting for more info, pics, and such to be released before making my final decision.

And hey, no reason for shame, I am too. I'm extremely anal about the way everything goes for my movies/games. I have a separate shelf for Blu-rays because the cases are smaller, they are a different colour, etc. I've also got everything in alphabetical/numerical order on both sets of shelves lol. I get nuts if I don't have them all set up the right way 😵

glad to know I'm not alone at being maniacal about that kind of stuff XD I won't even put my Twilight DVDs next to anything Whedon (or Kripke) because I figure he would be horrified to see them too close to his awesome work!!
