I am halfway through cleaning the bunny run. I keep getting distracted. My brain is skipping like CD and I havent even been looking at gifs! After that I have to vacuum. Unpack the dishwasher. Wash the sheets. Clear the kitchen table. Bathroom is clean, benches and stove is clean, airfryer is scrubbed, clothes are folded and put away. Half way there. No deadline just scattered halfway.

I need to do all the unseen stuff, sorting out cupboards and drawers. Especially the food cupboards and the craft areas.

My main dry food cupboard desperately needs an empty, sort out and clean. I hope to do that soon. The freezer needs a sort too.
I washed all the house rugs and sheets today. So of course town was covered in smoke while they were hanging out. The big floor rug is still out there, hasnt dried yet. I am probably going to have to wash it again to get the smell off.
Vacuuming is next on my list again. Keeping the kitchen clean has been a breeze with the new dishwasher and many meals of salad. But for some reason the ants have come in. I dont know what they are after, its cleanest it been all year.

Do you know about pouring boiling water or bleach on where the ants have been? Once one has found something, more will follow unless you destroy the chemical trail.
They'll leave when they're finished. They can do their job and go on their way. They dont bother me, I just dont know what they've found since the place is so much cleaner than usual!

A lot of rain maybe? We have that problem in the warmer months when it is really wet. They'll come in to get away.
In other news we started noticing a bad smell in the house. Took us a few days to track it down. Turns out one of our dogs brought a dead mole into the house and put it behind the couch....
I think it was the opposite, too hot and dry outside. The spiders do the same. They were even in the laundry and loo! No sense of direction. They are gone today.
Vacuuming due again, the bunny is molting and the dogs killed a toy and I clipped their legs.
Well the car was mostly cleaned out!
I need to sort out the ever growing pile of bedding to put away. I hate folding fitted sheets, so they just tend to stay at the bottom of the pile!

I cleaned out my main dry foods cupboard. Which involved throwing a lot of stuff away. I may not be as tiny as I was as a kid, but the back of the top shelf of the cupboard is still a poor place to store things.
The cupboard is now cleaned and bleached and drying before I put what's left back in it.
At least I got a couple of glass jars I can use for storing things in. Though one had some chilli stuff in it that doubled as pepper spray.

Finally cleaned behind the couch. I have been putting it off for a long while. Found a ball, a chew toy and a soft toy. The dogs are delighted. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. I thought there were mice nesting under it, but it wasnt the case. I moved the couch around which the dogs are less delighted with. They dont know where to sit now.
I tried to steam clean the kitchen but the steam cleaner seems broken. Steam was coming out the top, its not supposed to. There was a seal there that broke after the first use, I will see if I can find another seal for it but if its still leaking I'll chuck it out.

I pulled up the kitchen carpet to wash it on the patio. It hasnt dried and Im too weak to pick it up again yet ๐
I have blocked off the door from the kitchen to the loungeroom. It gives me more space in both rooms. I will move the bunny run this week too, give Anyanka a completely new set up. Its still the same as it was when Xander died. She will appreciate a new place.
All the coles bags are folded in boxes now. I just have to fold some sheets off the line next.
