That's a great idea--there's one on my college campus! I have too many books to put there at once, but it would definitely help me narrow down my collection a bit. Thanks for the suggestion!
 
I got a lot of cleaning done today. Mostly I have been playing in the garden too much to notice the house, but with the hot weather I am more limited to inside.

I had a number of wooden horse statues that are annoying to dust. Today I thought I would see what happens if I put furniture polish on them. They shined up nice and I hope it helps keep the dust from sticking on them so much. Time will tell.

Also cleaned up a mirror I had left outside that got grubby and dusty and now looks like new. Until the rabbit licks it, or the dogs slobber on it. I dont really know where to hang it, so its just leaning up against the tv cabinet for now.

Since its so hot, I am doing all the washing. It dries superfast outside, so basically once one load is done, the other is dry. Hot days are the most efficient washing days!
 
I want to have a big declutter this month, just start in one room and see how far I get.
 
Spring cleaning? We are only two weeks into winter! I am going to let the clutter build up, maybe shift it around a bit, but when I look outside, there is nothing that says "spring" to me.
 
Defrosting the freezer is going to have to be done next week. Before my food delivery arrives.
 
Floors are the aim today, more specifically cleaning the kitchen floor, not just a sweep
 
I did good today, caught up on a lot of housework that got left behind when I was out so much last week. Even hand washed a load of clothes!
I gotta use the blower on the patio, but its windy so blowing too much today.
Scrubbing the shower is on the list too. And cleaning the laundry after the washer pissed all over the floor again.
 
Lots to do today, but going to prioritise getting the bedroom sorted, then scrubbing the bathroom floor.

Got the washing machine on currently and got a bag of stuff to take to the charity shop, so I'll do both of those this morning before I go to work. Then this afternoon it'll be cleaning as it's not great gardening weather.
 
I thought it would be much easier to keep the house clean without the bunnies living in it. But its not really that different. Besides the odd scrap of hay and hair in moulting season, the house is much the same to keep. I duno why I thought it would make such a big difference, perhaps because people always bawked at the hay in the buns run, but hay has never bothered me and the house is just as dusty without it. I was told I was allergic to the bunnies, but nope, still the same without them. And once I packed up the run, you could never tell there was a bun here at all.

I have a lot of dishes to do haha.
 
Got an hour and half before I need to go to work, so going to clear the sofa and change the throw on it, which while technically a 5 minute job I'll sit here and procrastinate for a good half hour!

I kept meaning to write a list here, because I kept forgetting to do things. But today I did all the things! So now there is no list left for today.

Next list
Scrub the bathroom ceiling
Sort out the cupboard under the sink
Dust the cobwebs off the walls and windows and front door
Rake up the leaves
Take the broken kettle and broken vacuum out to the shed
 
I need another list today because my head isnt in the game.

Wash the stinky blonde dog.
Fold the couch blankets.
Empty the dishwasher and repack with the pots.
Find the mouse trap that has gone missing...

Careful. The mice have probably repurposed it as a human trap. Watch your toes!

My garage was designed over 100 years ago - when my house was built. A modern car would barely fit with space to open the doors. Some SUVs might not go in all the way. So yes, sadly, in addition to laundry and storing gardening implements, it is full of junk. 😎

I think the cars or carriages were a bit smaller in 1917

Next up will be my bedroom, but this is always a tough one for me, I dont have draws for clothes so everything lives on the floor pretty much. I might use those baskets...

Yeah, I put my lists here so that I don't lose them!
I must vacuum. It always hurts but Im hoping those pain pills I took to do gardening yesterday are still in effect lol.

Just done mine! Great fun! Yeah... nope.
I need to clean the airfryer, I bought some new liners for it, so I'll get it cleaned and start using those

Great idea! Hubby worships his. Everytime i was it for him he inspects it for dings. Sighs. Liners good. And i decided to let him clean his own damn fryer!
