1. What do you is the most important or influential thing that Buffy has said to Spike? What about Spike to Buffy?
For Buffy to Spike: "You faced the monster inside of you and you fought back. You risked everything to be a better man. And you can be. You are. You may not see it but I do. I do. I believe in you, Spike."
For Spike to Buffy: "You listen to me. I've been a live a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. Don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I've only my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain, so I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong, bloody calls. A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of -- you. Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say I love you, it's not because I want you, or because I can't have you, and it has nothing to do with me. I love what you are. What you do. How you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You are a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy." 2. Do you think that Buffy is still in love with Spike? Do you think Spike is still in love with Buffy?
Spike is most definitely in love with Buffy. I think that's the one thing we definitely can't contest. Buffy's always been kind of a closed book to me, because I don't know what Joss'll do with her, since there's still constant insistence for her undying and overwhelms-everything love for Angel (not that she can't be in love with both of them). But not trying to predict how Joss will write her, and just judging from the show itself, yeah, I think she is. At the very least, she loves him.
3. If someone asked you why you love Spuffy so much, what would you say if you only had one sentence to explain?
They've been everything with each other.
4. Why do you think Spike and Buffy are right for each other?
They've gone through this amazing, tumultuous journey through the seasons, far longer and more complicated than any relationship on the show, and they've been everything from enemies to friends to grudging allies to lovers to confidantes to the-season-six-thing to sparring partners (though not in that order, and sometimes concurrently). They've grown with each other and learned from each other. Buffy inspired Spike to become a better person, even to the point of getting a soul for her. Spike gave her back the 'fire', pulling her back from the dead and back to the living, metaphorically speaking. The entire path of their relationship is just so fantastic.
Plus, they're really snarky.
