And think about this. What if it had bin the other way around. That she started with Spike and then went to Angel. How boring would'nt that have been. Kinda like going from Angel to Riley.
 
ew... please i dont want to imagine that! it wouldnt be Btvs if it hadnt been Angel then Spike.. because Spuffy is a much mature relationship has she has matured.. where as Bangel was more innocent.
 
Yeah, not just the spuffy union is low, but buffyverse altogether! There needs to be something new whedonverse related!!

Of course. Well, of course I did. I'd already seen s6. But I'm pretty sure if I hadn't, then I wouldn't known. It's too obvious. Spike wants Buffy, he'll find a way to get her.

No, seriously, I know that according to Joss we were supposed to form our own ideas... but I have always leaned towards the conclusion that they did not have sex this evening. It didn't seem right. They were finally moving past that... you know what I mean?
 
I WANTED and still WANT the relationship to go into a different direction! Spuffy isn't about SEX!!!!!!!!
 
Well, really, it did move in the direction throughout all season seven. Their relationship started changing... and if they would've ever gotten fully back together, we would've seen a different relationship!
