Status Updates

Hi, Just wondering and also reporting (possibly)... In my Alerts I can get the beginning part of someone's status update, but when I click on it to view the whole status and it says, this person limits who can view their profile (presuming I'm blocked), why does it come up in my Alerts as partially viewable?? Surely if I'm blocked by that person from viewing their profile, I should not get the Alert. I am confused. Help please?

Hm, that sounds peculiar. I can't answer it sadly and Buffy is away for a few days but as soon as she gets back I'm sure you can get an answer. 🙂

It's because status' are not protected but the other information on the page is, so while you can see the status' of people you follow, you can't see other info contained on the profile page if they've set it to be only viewable to people they follow.
