Suggestion - Halloween Event

We would need to take into account the fact that many people will have plans on Halloween, I can do something in the build up but as for the night itself i'm off to a party.

Like Faith said, some people do have plans on the actual Halloween date. That's one thing that I like mentioned... that the event start the night before Halloween and then continue onto the actual day. That way, a lot of people will have a chance to participate.
Ok guys how about we make this a kind of bumper event that goes on for a couple of days? I'm thinking we can do the Buffy Halloween eps, maybe some scary movies with Whedonverse connections and maybe some eps that weren't Halloween but should have been eg. Hush?
We can space it out between the 29th and the 31st, that way everyone gets to take part somehow?

The answer is simple my friend, ruddy expensive but simple. Fly everyone to Ausralia. Halloween night in NY is the next day here. Hence no problem.

sunnydale high picture show is for everyone on BB and ran i guess by us... since we do syncs on irc and on msn.

anything on the 31st is a bad idea me thinks (nothing to do with it being my birthday or anything but around halloween is better)
as for what to watch... well the halloween episodes of buffy and rocky horror (since thats what started shps and i watch that movie every halloween anyways)

Which is why, as above we are discussing doing something that covers the build up to Halloween and the night itself. That way everyone can join in and those that don't have plans for the night itself can still celebrate Buffy style.

*is actuallu one step behind, apparently* I should really stop giving you karma now...
I know SPHS has been running for awhile but that is a limited group of people and is not a board sponsored. BBtv was created because of SPHS's wanted to watch Buffy with board members. I've had a chat with Five by Five about what we are going to do and we have it sorted out.
As for what's happening on the 31st, well that's up to the members. Not everyone is going to party and might like to have some BB fun. By spacing out what we watch everyone gets to have fun not just a small group of members.

Ok this is what I have come up with so far.
On the 29th of October we will have a Halloween Episodes that Weren't Marathon. Basically episodes of Buffy that freak you out so much they could be Halloween eps. I think three epidoes is nice number for this. If people are interested we can do it twice for both sides of the Atlantic🙂
I'll post a new thread with a poll where everyone can decide which three eps we watch.
On the 30th there will be two screenings of all of the Halloween Buffy episodes. For Europe it will be 8PM GMT and will carry on untill midnight where they will be watching Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now there are two options you can join in with Europe or you can take part in the American screening which will take place at 9 or 10 pm eastern time depending on what is best for you guys. We could also watch RHPS if you wanted.
On the 31st we will have Fright Night where we will watch some whedonverse realted scary movies🙂 Once again we can have two screenings of this if people want. I was thinking maybe Scream 2, I Know what You Did Last Summer, The Grudge or maybe The Valentine (any other suggestions are welcome, once again I will start a poll when I have enough to choose from).

Darkness Falls could be a suggestion... I didn't particularly love it but it was Emma's big starring role... and Wrong Turn for Eliza, that one wasn't too bad.

i (L) halloween too.... im surprised if i am the first to mention it... i cant recall seeing it brought up. hope others have the movie... i have two copies on dvd if anyone wants one lol
