I have to admit. I'm more interested in the stuff surrounding it, than the actual event. I like the commercials (although we don't get them in Canada until the day after), and the half-time show, but up until you just listed the teams, I didn't even know who was playing.

Superbowl parties are fun too. I don't know if Canadian superbowl parties are the same as American ones, but I can describe a Canadian superbowl party to you. Good food. Lots of beer. Good women to man ratio, but most are attached. Everyone's friendly (which is unusual for a Canadian social gathering involving beer). Two or 3 guys try to watch the game intermittently until half-time, at which point the stereo magically comes on, and nobody hears anything about the game again, until an hour or so later when a voice hollers the news over the music that such and such a team has won. Then everybody cheers. Turns out that was everybody's favorite team.

I don't like watching sports much on TV - they're so effing DULL - I don't want to watch other people playing a game. A GAME. I've never watched more than thirty minutes of the Super Bowl.

N4H, I've been to like four Super Bowl parties, all of them were sorta similar, except no alcohol...like four people try watching the game, everyone else eats and talks and socializes. Like the game is just the excuse to get together. lol

Da Bears!!!

I love superbowl because it marks the end of professional football for the year, which is awesome--i hate pro football, but I love superbowl fun...and i wanna see peyton manning go down...so

Da Bears!!!

I live in Chicago, but I can't stand the Bears. All I hear about is the Bears.........Now everyone drives around with "Bears" flags on their cars............I just went to Indiana yesterday afternoon and bought some Colts gear. GO COLTS! (Although I really <3 my Philly Eagles)

I am so ticked off right now! I can't hardly even explain it.

Of course, being from Illinois (And about twenty miles from Chicago...I'm a hardcore Bear fan. And even though they lost, I still will be

but.... oh my goodness...what a disgrace! I think the fifth grade team of football players at my school play better than that. It was awful. I could've taken the loss easier if EVERYONE on the Bears team (both defense and offense) actually remembered how to play football.

Here's a review: Um, don't fumble on a hike, don't throw interceptions, hello...it's called a freakin tackle!, do not count on Devin Hester to get all your points cuz it's not going to happen, and boys...have you ever heard of a sack?
