Swearing?

I won't lie - I think it's cute. of course unless it's done in an insulting way. I was in an icecream store once and there was this little girl - must have been 3 or 4 - in this princessy fancy dress, hair in ribbons and such - she spilled her icecream and said "Oh f***!"

I thought it was hysterical.

maybe I'm just sick in the head. 🙂

I'm with [MENTION=11292]kittenpoker[/MENTION] I think it's funny when kids swear, unless it is used in a malicious way. My parents raised me with all the verbal freedom in the world but a very strict way of behaving towards others, so swearing is fun but being mean is unacceptable.
 
Swearing, hm well, I can't say I never do it but mostly it happens when I'm really annoyed an my patience just runs out. 🙂 Or if I'm really surprised it can happen too.

A lot of the times my friends will tease me though, saying you can tell that I've had a kid at home for too long cause a lot of the time when I swear it comes out as "flippin' pancakes" or "gosh dee" or other abbreviations or harmless substitution words (e.g. "spatula") 🙂

I'm not too fond of kids swearing and when my brother does I will scold him for it. We used to have a swear jar but that was more for my mother than him truth be told.
 
It's just language. I only swear when the mood calls for it, i.e. when I'm angry or upset or being melodramatic. If you use it constantly I think you reduce the impact of it.
 
While I do curse, I try not to. I defiantly don't do it in work environments or around people I highly respect. However, I think people cursing comes across kind of trashy or uneducated now. So I am working on cutting it back.
 
I have a mouth like a sailor. I try to control it but it's hard. The only time I don't swear alot is when I'm at work 😀
 
While other people swearing doesn't offend me, I don't swear very often myself. I just think there are better words to use if I'm honest.

Okay, swearing. I do swear here and there, but I was raised in a family (or families) that all were frequent swearers. I wouldn't say I swear consistently, but some days are worse than others. If I have had a bit of wine, I tend to swear more frequently and then apologize for it. It's really very amusing when I've sobered to think back on conversations from my drunken state. It's a whole lot of "*bleep*, my apologies." Or "*bleep*, pardon my language."
 
I admit I have a mouth on me like a drunken sailor. I can keep it in check if I'm around the folks or kids or something. When I'm around friends though, I will swear a bit. I tend to do it alot more when I'm really angry. I have a low swear filter already, but if I'm upset the filter is pretty much gone.
