I loved this episode. I loved how Buffy names herself Joan, after season 2's ep When She Was Bad, Cordy says 'What's with the Joan Collins attitude?' Spike's suit was great in corrolation (sp?) with Restless from season 4. Spike's speech to Joan/Buffy was great saying "I must be a noble vampire. Helping the helpless" this pointing to Angel, then when Buffy/Joan says "How lame is that?" I loved it! It was great!

Ooh, thats interesting, I didn't catch all that stuff. lol, I don't know about educational, although I think a lot of the stuff blends in with our everyday lives and shows how people can make it through the hard times.

Every time I watch this episode I catch something odd:

When the gang is in the shop, the window gets broken at one point. Then, after "Joan" dusts a vamp and scares the other one off, there's a wierd noise and the window appears perfectly intact. Has anyone else noticed this?

Is it part of some kind of reparation spell on the Magic Box? Because, if it is, it really wasn't working well when Olaf or Willow felt all "rampagey".

LOL! I like that list, #1 is my favorite. lol! Really? I didn't know that about it, too bad I don't have season 6 on dvd, I would rewatch it.

lol, i think thats funny. I think it was most probably just a silly mistake this time. You know every time I watch that episode from now one all I will be able to think about is that? tehe

I love this episode, its reallt funny.. But i ididint really understand when Buffy and Dawn hugged and Spike said "You never showed me affection like that" how would he remmeber that he liked buffy if he's forgotten who she is? Does anyone understand? :: wacko2

Didn't he say that to Giles? Because he thought Giles was his father, he said that to Giles. Like the whole family bond thing. That's what I thought.

Yeah this episode was really funny. I always figured she picked the name Joan because it's such a normal name and she always wanted to have a normal life. Also because of Joan of Arc and Buffy's martyr complex, someone else probably mentioned that but I haven't read through all of the posts. I love that Anya and Giles though they were married lol, and Anya making all the bunnies.
