Tara vs Kennedy

But if all it took was Kennedy having to say "To get you to stay" to get her to sit back down again, Well that really doesn't imply that she should have to back off, if you were pursuing someone and you said that and they sat back down you wouldn't think, ok now I slow down! Willow showed she was interested, and this:
KENNEDY
(walks into the room, toward Willow, nods) Yes. Kinda cleared the air.

WILLOW
(nods) Yeah, totally. Air cleared. Check.

Shows that there was a tension between them, One that both of them felt, This is what made Kennedy go after Willow, she felt she liked her too, and she was right!
 
the tension was cleared but that doesn;t prove they should ahve been together if that was the case then when the air was cleared between her and friends she could have hooked up with one of them. Air being cleared doesn't mean that willow had a crush on her too.
 
But the tension cleared was that they both knew they liked each other, Now that they were 100% sure the other fancied them, they could move forward. It wasn't an awkward air between them, it was a feelings tension!
 
even though kennady knew what willow went through ( evil willow- to an extent...) she still pushed and pushed.....willow did get pissed off with her she was just to polite to say hey just......off man......kennady was far to forward...didn she really care about willows feelings....tara....or was she just to eagar for those lickable freckles?
 
I really doubt Willow wanted to push Kennedy away. At first it seemed like that to me as well, but she would have never entered a relationship with her unless she really wanted to. I think Willow just felt quilty about falling for someone else that soon after Tara's death. Thing is that Willow falling for Kennedy has got nothing to do with Tara, it doesn't in any way suggest that Tara/Willow wasn't super serious and real. But maybe this was exactly what Willow needed at this point, someone like Kennedy who could actually help her through it, and wasn't pushed away by the fact that Willow clearly wasn't over Tara. (Kennedy also never tried to make Tara less important for Willow, it's not like she ever told Willow not to think about Tara or to just get over it or anything.)

Ohhh i think i hate you two, Dontdisembowelzombies and Willowtightassisfine...sorry forgot your actual names....but you are m,aking medo something thats totally against me as a person.......i have to defend Kennedy.

Kennedy was pushy, forthright and confident, that is clear HOWEVER none of these suggests that Willow was forced into a situation. She is a big girl who is aware of who she is.
She may have been a tad vulnerable when the relationship(spit spit) started but by the time it became anything more then positive flirting Willow had been written to be on the road to accepting what had happened and moved on.
To suggest that Kennedy forced Willow betrays Willow and even Tara. Willow had gained alot of confidence in her sexuality through Tara and to suggest that she was manipulated by Kennedy like this says that all she was all she gained has been wiped clean to the woman who first met Tara.

My issue isnt with how the relationship came about, its the timing.

Thanks for not hating me i think. i agree with u willow is a big girl who is a strong willed person i never said she wasn't and another thing maybe if kennedy came in later in willow's life {metaphorically speaking} i wouldn't have cared but the timing like u said dia dela muerte [see i didn't forget ur name 🙂 ] in my opinion was to soon which is why i cant stand her it was just to early to see such a character with willow pretty much right after tara died that made me mad and probably made me completly hate that charcter kennedy
 
But it was actually about 5-6 months later, that's almost half a year, It was not like Tara died then the next day Willow decided to date Kennedy!

Anyways, exactly. It was a while later. And it had been some time for Willow, the summer was like so long for her cause she went through that whole understanding magic thing with Giles. She was in a way a new Willow (again, doesn't make Tara less important to her), and it's very understandable that she wanted to get on with her life, don't blame her for that (and she was still afraid to do so). And definitely don't blame Kenndy for wanting Willow! Hell, I understand her completely 😛

oh i'm so sorry that i made u guys have to defend kennedy wow i feel the guilt inside me right now. 🙂

and i apologize for having an opinion on a character. i didn't know it was against the law to say i dislike a character. i don't like the couple. kennedy gives me the wiggins.

and eponinethen did i ever blame kennedy for liking willow NO!!! who doesn't like willow come on she is hot!!!!!

i just don't like kennedy big deal i voiced my opinion. the realationship didnt really have time to evolve it was crunched in to a couple episode u cant see if she really was a good fun character.
 
ok right, willow and tara forever, KENNADY EVIL i dont give 2 monkeys if it was 5-6 months thats nothing...... my first gf took me over a year or more .....to really gett over... and willow nearly destroyed the world.....so hummmmmm..... WILLOW AND TARA. not saying i hate her but i dont think her and willow are suited for each other.
 
kenndey like i said before was not needed it was the last season willow could of live with out her that is all there is to say what does it matter now the show ended
 
oh yeah by the way if u all didnt note my apology is more like sarcasm. and master k that freaking right i dont thin kthose 2 are suited for each other and o well if it was 5-6 months that could mean nm for some ppl it still 2 years since my dad died and im not getting over it after a couple months look up ion the dictionary GRIEF
 
visionguy there are some of us who have a fiery passion against kennedy 🙂
