Tara's Death

yes I do think he was added to the credits, but Joss had a reason why he didnt include Amber in the credits. Amber may not have been in the credits but atleast she was still a regular cast member to be in the group pictures and promos.
 
I think the whole Amber Benson not being added in the credits, is so bizarre. The same goes for Andy Hallett, why were they not included straight from the moment they becmae apart of Angel, ok maybe not Andy Hallett as he was not appearing every ep, but Amber Benson so should off!!! She made the BuffyVerse even better than it already is, she should so of got a place on the credits for more than one episode!
 
I agree Lilah....Tara and Lorne made a big impact on their shows so there should be given some sign of recognition=adding to cast...
 
That is so not fair. Why wasn't she added? Anyone know? That is so wrong. Without Tara where would they be? That isn't fair at all, now I'm going to have to lead a riot.
 
Well, actually the only reason I was upset about her dieing was because Willow was so upset. But other than that, It didn't effect much bacause her and Willow's realtionship made Oz leave AGAIN!.

But Oz leaving was a good thing because his character was stupid in the show.
 
In my opinion she should have been a regular after New Moon Rising, or at least taken Rileys place in the credits after he took off in Into The Woods. I cannot think of any reasons at all as to why this wasn't done. I think the way Tara died was awful, I can't watch the end of Seeing Red, or Villians, Two To Go and Grave. I saw them once (might as well as I bought the box set) but now the last video is staying in it's case. I won't go on about Kennedy, she should have done a runner instead of Annabelle in Bring On The Night. Annabelle had a funky accent.
 
I cried... lol. Taras not my favourite character, but it was still sad and kinda gross the way she died... It was horrible when willow was crying and was devatated, and shocking when Dawn found her and was just sitting in the corner watching her.. Imagine coming home from school and seeing that on the bedroom floor.. ::disturb: seriously disturbing..

On a different note, about Amber Benson not being added at the beginning in the credits.. If you check the episode where she dies, you'll see that they give her a little bit at the beginning, like show her clips when they are introducing the characters..
 
Willow's power issues go all the way back to season one. She needed a way to control situations, to overcome her own feeling of inadequecy. Willow's turn to Evil!Willow was imminent. The death of Tara just propelled it a long a bit.

I think Tara was the source of all goodness in the Scoobies S6. She was their shining light. When Buffy was confused about what was going on with Spike, she ran to Tara for help. Tara provided a safe haven for Dawn [although, I think in this instance that's irrelevant-- she was always sort of a 'favorite aunt' for Dawn].

The point is, the more she helped the more she hindered. The Scoobs saw a guiding light in her, and they ran towards that haven instead of having to sort through their own issues. And part of the conception of season six was the sheer reality of the real world: it's harshness, etc. Running to Auntie Tara wasn't going to make all their problems go away.So, in a sense, she needed to be 'dispatched' [and that sounds incredibly harsh, so let's keep in mind I LURVED TARA] whether that meant death, her absence from the Summers home, etc.

But yes, my heart wrenched when I saw that rose of blood blossom on her chest. I loved Tara, but unlike a lot of people, I saw the reason why they killed her. C'mon, people. Joss has a reason for these things.

How stupid! after all the mystical stuff they've been through, Tara is taken by a benine stray bullet! That is such bull!!!!! I was so... so... I don't know... disorianted. That's about as good as I can describe it. I just was so lost. I had no comprehension of my surroundings. I went and took a shower and got lost in thoughts for about half an hour! I have steal to deal with that. A freaking Bullet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn you John. you rotten S.O.B. Being skinned alive was far to good a fate for your ******* ass!!!!
 
Don't even get me started on Taras death. She was everything good and pure to The Scooby Gang, she brightned up situations when she was part of them. And often grounded the Scoobies in times of need 😀 She brought such a new and wonderful new light to being a Witch. Showing its not just all power and using it like Willow did, it was alot deeper then that, and I think she portrayed that well ^_^.

And I agree with you Little Tree. After all the Demonic crap they've been through, she gets killed by all things by a Bullet! Even though it added a great new twist to the season and was the reason for one of my favorite Characters 'Evil Willow' I don't think Tara should have died. She was a great Character, once I saw the blood on Willows shirt I instantly knew what had happened and if I do say so myself, got into alittle fit and if I remember correctly even shed a tear ::mmm::. But after all that being sad about her death I went into complete rage mode, and had to vent off the steam on the punching bag. So I think its safe to say that I did NOT like Tara being killed off, even though I liked the twist it had with the story. She still shouldent have died..
 
I just watched the episode where she dies...And I'm still crying! Her "Wish I could stay" song in the musical episode gives a new meaning (sounds corny, but I'm just in that mood now).
I still haven't seen the evil Willow, that's the end of s6? I'm borrowing them from my brothers girlfriends sister, and my brother still hasn't watched the last two episodes, so I'm missing the last tape! I'm so annoyed right now! ::bsad:: And sad! I'm not sure if Tara dying was worth the evil Willow, I'll have to see it first...
I think the way she was killed, with the bullet, made it even worse. I mean, I knew she was gonna die, but I was imagining by some witch, demon or vampire or something. And it's a bullet! It's just so....normal, if that makes sense. It made it even sadder!

i think that was the poit.. to make her death look common, and there look mutch more shoking..
yeah.. i read spoilers before downloading it.. i know what was goin to happen.. but still i got like.. shocked..
 
Or the other potentials. Like in Bring on The Night, with the british invasion. LoL. Maybe she could have been in a love triangle - Willow, Kennedy, Tara?
