Every girl knows the struggles of making it through that dreaded “time of the month.”

If being an emotional wreck wasn’t bad enough, having your period also makes you want to eat all of those emotions, too.

Although pretty much any food that comes within a five-foot radius of you is fair game, most ladies would agree the ultimate snack to stuff your face with while you whine, watch chick flicks and cry for no reason is ice cream.

Recently, Texas-based graphic designer Parker Jones, set out to create a series of clever ice cream labels that really speak to women who see red during that time of the month.

Jones’ brutally honest PMS ice cream pints feature hilarious flavors that perfectly capture the emotional stages and side effects that go along with being a hangry sociopath on your period.

There’s the always-delicious “Don’t Come Near Me” rocky road…

…the strawberry “I Think I’m Dying,” which tastes like heaven…

…and the honest “I Need Some More” mint chocolate chip flavor.

These pints also have the emotional stages of being on your period printed on their labels. Whether you’re eating your feelings, ready to punch someone in the face, or trying to find the strength to make it through those last few days of absolute hell.

Too bad I'm lactose intolerant 😛 I get to be moody while crying because I can't get my ice cream.

I'm pretty sure that lactose free ice cream exists :)
These are pretty funny and clever. I'm all about the chocolate.

I hope that there will be more flavors as ice cream is a weakness of mine.

I must be the only female on the planet who doesn't feel the need to eat the contents of the fridge at their time of the month. Seriously, every one of my friends always talk about the fact that they eat so much, whereas my appetite doesn't increase at all. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, lol. Than again, I don't have a lot of the other 'symptoms' either, like I don't get overly emotional.

Not that I wouldn't eat these anyway, lol.

Pretty funny I guess. Personally I don't find PMS to be hell so the labels don't really make me feel anything.

Sorry to spoil everyone's fun, but this is just another sexist way of putting females into catogories so that they can be understood in narrow terms, rather than just saying hey, periods happen and females as individuals deal with them in different ways. And even worse it is just another crude way for them to make more money😡

Besides I love Icecream too so why should you girls get all the fun!😛

...there we go people, Mr Trick has spoken! 😛😉

We should all be ashamed at the rather harmless attempt to market ice cream to women in a cheeky, albeit original way.

If you believe that you'll believe anything lol!
lol if the misogynists want to exercise their sexism by giving me ice cream, than by all means I won't stop them 😛

And to those saying they don't PMS, you can all go to hell! Now pardon me while I go die in a corner in agony in my typical female PMSing fashion 😛

@Smile Time Indeed, there's lactose free ice cream! But it doesn't come in a nice packaging warning the world that I might murder them if they steal my ice cream 😉

Haha, I do PMS it's just not the kind that turns me into a "hangry sociopath". 😉

Though to be fair... It may be that I'm not swayed by these ice-cream pints because frankly speaking - I don't like ice cream all that much - but good news, I'll give all my ice-cream to you instead Blaze. For my own saftey I'll just throw it at you where you're lurking in your corner and then run away!

Careful not to get too close...I do bite. But I mostly just growl, especially if your kind enough to provide me with delicious ice cream
@Mr Trick : While that might be true. I don't take offense. I can joke about it, it's whatever. And I'm not going to complain about getting ice cream. lol.
@Blaze :"Careful not to get too close...I do bite." Dang, you sound crazy when you PMS. Remind me to not piss you off. lol.

I'm more with Taake, PMS just sucks and my back kills me, but I don't get super emotional or anything. Blaze is just cray cray.😉 lol

Just like to call a spade a spade FB LOL.
Can someone please explain to me why this would be viewed as sexist? Some people are actually sending her nasty comments calling her sexist. People are ignorant sometimes.

Sending who nasty messages? I was partly joking with my remark, but I am cyrical of this sort thing as it just feeds into the stereotype of girls and icecream, and them being weak at that time of the month etc..

Broad generalizations playing on female stereotypes ...

... "every girl"

I can see why some would find it offensive to perpetuate the idea that all women essentially turn into werewolves once a month. I mean as a girl I can't tell you how many times it has happened to me, if upset, that someone will just dismiss my feelings by going "are you PMS-ing or what?" That's a problematic dismissal/devaluation of my emotions and possibly the situation. Now I'm not saying I mind these ice-creams, but she is perpetuating the myth that all women turn into - as mentioned "hangry sociopaths" - which is frankly not true.

To some it's harmless.
Others might see a more pernicious side to it.
Simple as that.

That's all well and good. Then I tell you what, if you see it that way dont go to her blog and send her nasty comments. I don't see where this is anything different than fan art. She created something in her spare time and uploaded it to her blog.

It's not her fault it became viral and spread. It doesn't give anyone the right to cast disparaging comments at/to her.

Of course not. I'm not excusing cyber-bullying or hate. But you asked how some could view it as sexism.
