OMG blast from the past
Everyone on fb is uploading their pics of the trees. Ughhhh christmas is so soon and I havent organised any pressies 🙁 The most stressful time of the year for sure!!

I love most of the classic xmas songs! 😀 and I love ALOT of xmas movies! lol
I think Santa Claus with Dudley Moore in, is my fave xmas movie, watched that every xmas since I was a kid 😀
 
We bought a 6ft fake tree for our living room but we've had to downsize it to 2ft!! because of our bloomin cat lol He jumps in it, pulls all the decorations off and knocks some of the tree bits out! plus were concerned about him chewing stuff and being ill! 😱 So now it's 2ft and sits on the dvd case thingy, he doesn't seem to bother about it now ??? Strange but rather annoying 🙁

I dont know where I will be for christmas this year, I may still be a homeless bum living with my mother so I know she will make me help with the decorations. I'm surprised she hasnt already actually. She has already put a creepy santa in the entry way.

Every year it seems there are less and less chrissy decorations on the streets and in the shops. Even though I dont like christmas, I think it is a shame that this stuff is slowly getting phased out for fear of offending someone. There are less house light displays cos people cant afford to run them with the power prices and no one even says "Merry Christmas" any more. 🙁

My favourite christmas movie is probably Love Actually. Not that I've watched it around christmas for some years. I will this year though.

Trolltyg i tomteskogen is another must. Even if it isn't swedish it only seem to be popular here. Very strange because it's awesome.

Gnomes is the american title.

Personally I need to watch Mormor gråter, or Grandma cries at it would translate to. It's about 10 minutes long and is a stand-up reading a story he wrote about Christmas eve, the day we celebrate christmas the most. Totally spot on. At least when it aired the first time.

Heck, since I love posting links. For the swedes, norwegians and others that might enjoy.

Here Telenor has made a rip off of that commercial. Or if we should call it a tribute.

Some googling later. The add is no longer available. Coca cola sent their lawyers. They hadn't made a decision as of yesterday but Telenor took it down from their website anyway.

I don't even have a Christmas tree yet ;(

My father has three though (my parents are divorced). He bought one, but it was way too small to stand in the living room. So they bought a bigger one and put the first one in the kitchen. Then he also has a small plastic one. ;P
 
I will be in North Carolina for Christmas (near Raleigh), from December 19th to the 28th. I'd like to maybe catch a Duke women's basketball game (since tickets to the men's games will probably be sold out) and see a movie while I'm there. I'm not asking for a whole lot for Christmas, just a movie, CD and new USB drive. But I am looking forward to seeing my brother's new apartment and spending time with him and my Dad.
 
The snow was amazing hahaha 😀 We had our first downfall today hehe 😀

Luckily, I've done all my Xmas shopping.
Bad news? Most is online, so I just hope the snows lays off until they arrive 😀

I've found people easier to buy for this year for some reason hahaha 😀
 
After (finally) cleaning my bedroom, I wrapped Christmas lights around my window, and it looks amazing! Now it's starting to really feel like Christmas. 🙂
 
I wrapped all the presents and put them under the tree today. I hate wrapping presents, I'm no good at it.
 
I'm really in the Xmas mood now. It's my last day at placement tomorrow until Weds next week (although I have to work at the nursing home). I've opened my Xmas card from my boyfriend and he's wrapped all my presents which I've had a squeeze of 😀 also it's my staff Xmas party tomorrow night annnnddddd I'm going to TGI Fridays on Friday with my friend her partner and my boyfriend. Yay Christmas!!!!
