It scares me to think that the world is going to end some day. I don't think it will happen any time soon, but I worry about it every day. I believe that it will happen when we least expect it, and I expect it to happen every day, so, because of that, I don't think we have anything to fear right now. I do believe, however, that we're in the beginning of the Apocalypse. It's just a gut feeling I have.
Does any of this make any sense to anyone? I oughta teach a college course on the logic of Tru Mackney.
What?!?!?!
You need to back away from the Internet. Turn off the TV and stop drinking as much caffeine.
Science Fiction is a great thing but the end of the world/humanity won't be happening for a long while yet.
As Pala says, we as a species are very adaptive and will win out against most things that occur. We've already fought things that could be 'Apocalyptic' and survived, thats what we do. The other stuff, well we'll get a warning.
Seriously, your gut feeling is nothing more than trapped wind.
Well, I'm atheist. So i see the end of the world as a scientific inevitability.
Will it be any time soon? Heck no. I'll be dead and gone long before it happens.
Will the end of the human race happen before the end of the "world?" possibly. Many species become extinct.
But again, ill still be dead before it happens. So i don't worry about it.
I believe in God but I also believe it to be a Scientific Inevitability.
I don't believe Doomsayers and the like, we will end in a natural way at a natural time which will be long after the bones of our great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandchildrens bones have turned to dust.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. We're in the beginning stages of the Apocalypse.
no wer're not
Well I wouldn't worry about the sun as much as I would the moon. The moon moves an inch and a half away from the earth every year. When the earth was truly created 3.5 billion years ago the moon was 10 times as big as it is today. One of these days the moon will pull too far away from the earth. The earth will spin out of cycle causing the earth to rotate well, out of whack. The deserts will be cold and the poles will be hot. It's scary. Watch, If We Had No Moon.
Not to say this will happen in our lifetime of course. Cause well, it wont. Unless something knocks the moon off it's course.
Interestingly the Moon will take Millions of years for this to become an issue so don't buy that overcoat if you live in the dessert just yet.
Listen people, we have our entire lives left on this planet, so of us will be around for decades to come and some of our posters children may even see in 2100. We have nothing to fear in the human race being killed off(7 billion people - thats going to take alot) and the planet will last longer than that.
Enjoy life, love the people that love you, care for those who need you and bring peace to your little corner of the world.
Thats all you have to do.
