What Wesley didn't know, his comrads were in the biggest fight they ever had, possibly in history. What Wesley did know, it was taking a long time for him to move on. He just stayed, looking at the ceiling of Cyvus Vail's mansion.
Thousands of emotions went through his head; anger, sadness, happy, confusion. He didn't expect that 'the after life' would be like this. Although, he didn't know where'd he go or what'd he do. And somehow, in the back of his mind, he could hear voices of his fallen brethern. Even though he didn't know Doyle, his voice popped up first. "The Good Fight, yeah?", he said. Then he heard Cordelia, "We have so much evil to fight", she rang out. Then, his favorite voice, the voice of the love of his life sounded, "You are my sunshine". Suddenly, Wes's body lifted up, or at least it felt like his entire body, and soared up to the ceiling. He went through the ceiling and into what appeared to be daylight. He looked to his left and saw about thirty clouds overhead, completely shielding the ground from sunlight, where the Hyperion used to be. He pondered for explainations of what could be happening, but he couldn't concentrate. He was higher up now, right around 30, 40 thousand feet, but air didn't seem to matter, nor gravity. That wasn't what scared him the most. He thought they could be playing a trick on him, that his body would suddenly fall and venture downwards, all the way to hell. But it never happened. Suddenly, a bright light flashed and he disappeared from the sky.

Angel swan dives off the Hyperion's rooftop and onto the dragon's back. He tried to make the dragon dive into the body-riddled alley but it overpowered him and kept on it's present course. The dragon swayed, repeatedly, trying to send Angel into the 'demon pit'. Suddenly, the dragon saw something, another member of Angel's team. Gunn. Angel saw the sudden change of the dragon's trajectory and looked at their new destination. He started to panic, thinking of anything that could save Gunn's life and his life. He thought of one idea, but that only ended in his friend's survival. He looked beneath him and yelled Spike, begging for Spike's sword. Reluctantly, as he stared at his companion, threw his sword up. The sword soared through the thick air and slightly ahead of the dragon. Angel jumped on the dragon's neck and twirled around it, barely catching the sword. As he returns to the top of the neck, he thrusted the sword into the head, instantly making the dragon screech in pain. Angel rips it out and does it again. The dragon sways back and forth, continuously feeling the pain leave it. It starts to dive down but still in the direction Gunn. Angel glances at evry point in the street, thinking of the lives that he lost. The lives he killed. He grabs the blade and the handle and puts it over the dragon's mouth, like a harness. He pulls right and the dragon goes with him, sending them into a warehouse. Right before the crashed in, a smile appears on his face, knowing he at least saved one life. They hit several beams of wood and as they tumble down the building, the beams splinter, only leaving certain death on Angel's future.
