What Wesley didn't know, his comrads were in the biggest fight they ever had, possibly in history. What Wesley did know, it was taking a long time for him to move on. He just stayed, looking at the ceiling of Cyvus Vail's mansion.
Thousands of emotions went through his head; anger, sadness, happy, confusion. He didn't expect that 'the after life' would be like this. Although, he didn't know where'd he go or what'd he do. And somehow, in the back of his mind, he could hear voices of his fallen brethern. Even though he didn't know Doyle, his voice popped up first. "The Good Fight, yeah?", he said. Then he heard Cordelia, "We have so much evil to fight", she rang out. Then, his favorite voice, the voice of the love of his life sounded, "You are my sunshine". Suddenly, Wes's body lifted up, or at least it felt like his entire body, and soared up to the ceiling. He went through the ceiling and into what appeared to be daylight. He looked to his left and saw about thirty clouds overhead, completely shielding the ground from sunlight, where the Hyperion used to be. He pondered for explainations of what could be happening, but he couldn't concentrate. He was higher up now, right around 30, 40 thousand feet, but air didn't seem to matter, nor gravity. That wasn't what scared him the most. He thought they could be playing a trick on him, that his body would suddenly fall and venture downwards, all the way to hell. But it never happened. Suddenly, a bright light flashed and he disappeared from the sky.

Angel swan dives off the Hyperion's rooftop and onto the dragon's back. He tried to make the dragon dive into the body-riddled alley but it overpowered him and kept on it's present course. The dragon swayed, repeatedly, trying to send Angel into the 'demon pit'. Suddenly, the dragon saw something, another member of Angel's team. Gunn. Angel saw the sudden change of the dragon's trajectory and looked at their new destination. He started to panic, thinking of anything that could save Gunn's life and his life. He thought of one idea, but that only ended in his friend's survival. He looked beneath him and yelled Spike, begging for Spike's sword. Reluctantly, as he stared at his companion, threw his sword up. The sword soared through the thick air and slightly ahead of the dragon. Angel jumped on the dragon's neck and twirled around it, barely catching the sword. As he returns to the top of the neck, he thrusted the sword into the head, instantly making the dragon screech in pain. Angel rips it out and does it again. The dragon sways back and forth, continuously feeling the pain leave it. It starts to dive down but still in the direction Gunn. Angel glances at evry point in the street, thinking of the lives that he lost. The lives he killed. He grabs the blade and the handle and puts it over the dragon's mouth, like a harness. He pulls right and the dragon goes with him, sending them into a warehouse. Right before the crashed in, a smile appears on his face, knowing he at least saved one life. They hit several beams of wood and as they tumble down the building, the beams splinter, only leaving certain death on Angel's future.

To be continued...

Spike watches the building fall down, like it was blown by a demolition crew. Sudden images went through his mind; when he and Angel first met in the ambassodor's house, their first elequent kill, his first lone elequent kill, seeing Angel again in Sunnydale, him materializing in his office, their major fight over the disappointing 'Cup of a Thousand Torments'. Even though he hated that gormless tit, he had the teensiest amount of respect.
Then, a quarter staff whacks him on the back of the head. He wobbles and catches the next swing. He yanks it out of the saliva producing, kelvar demon's possesion and somehow, manages to jam it down the demon's mouth halfway. The demon mumbles and whimpers and finally falls backwards. Spike scoffs at the achievement and straightens up, building up enough energy, might, and courage one can muster. He lets out a exasperated sigh and with lightning speed, charges the horde of demons, 70 in all. He blocks down swings from axes, swords, fists, legs; cutting off more that 25 limbs. Shockingly, he ends up on the other side, only ending up with cuts. What was more surprsing was the utter lack of demons. Only the trash-covered alley lay before him. He turns around and sees nothing but demons.
Then, a thunderous boom sounds through the back alley. He looks around him, seeing nothing big enough to make such a noise. He turns around again and sees something in the distance. 'Couldn't possibly', Spike thought as the shadow moves forward. It comes into picture more clearly and reveals a 100-story sized demon. It crushes building as his feet crash into the Los Angeles skyscrapers. It picks up a building from out of it's roots and throws it towards the battle. Hell, the war would be better in this kind of situation. Knowing there's no way out of it this time, he straightens up and holds his sword up to his chest, in the proudest way possible. He reaches down in his famous duster and pulls out a piece of paper and he smiles as he lets the wind carry it away. As the building comes down, Spike thought, 'Not as good as fryin' to a bloody crisp but... it'll have to do'. Then.... the rest.. is silence.

Spike smiles with his eyes closed, noticing there's a bright, pulsating light on the other side of his eyelids. He opens his right eye, immediately startled at what this vision was, as he opens the left. He jumps backwards, nearly out of his skin, into the blinding white wall. He stammers, trying to get out a 'bloody hell' or a 'bugger', but only lets out a yelp.
"Takes some gettin' used to, Blondie-Bear", said the odd calmness from Gunn's voice. He was still wearing the clothes he died on, but their all clean. Gunn stands in the corner, his arms tucked to his chest, and shaking his head. On Spike's left, sits a bewildered Angel, constantly shaking his head, trying to contemplate on what is happening. He lifts his head and sees Spike. "Oh, great. Now, you're dead"!
"I thought you'd be happy", said the nervous and still sarcastic Spike. On Angel's right, sits Wesley, who sits crosslegged, and giving Spike's 'existence' a little ackowledgement with a nod. Spike gives a inquiring look to Wesley who immediately shoots it down. "Don't look at me for answers. I've been here the longest and not one damn angel!", instantly noticing Angel's sidways glance, "no pun intended".
Another bright light eminates in the middle of the room and out comes Illyria. They look at her, amazed that she could die. Spike lets out a cold snicker as Wesley stands up abruptly. "What is this place? Were we teleported?", asked the fierce-eyed demi-god.
Before Wes or Spike could reply, three more white lights appear in the middle. But this was different, more blinding. Gunn, Illyria, and Wesley joined Spike and Angel on the farthest side of the room as the three lights start to fade. There stands three white-cloaked figures, their hoods overlapping their faces. A familiar feminine chuckle comes from the one on the left. None of them could point it out, except for Angel. She steps up and brushes the hood back, revealing the grinning Cordelia Chase. "Were you expecting anyone else?"

Should I continue or not? Is it a valiant effort or just another failed tragedy? You pick!!

This is shaping up to be a fun story (insofar as one where all the main characters die can be described as fun🙂) so please continue. I'd like to know who the other white cloaks are - I have an idea but...

"What, no hug? Hardly the way to greet an old friend", said the still grining Cordelia. Angel gives her a forced smile and hugs her tightly, not leaving any room between them. She taps his shoulder and says,"loser". He lets out a laugh and gets pushed out of the way by Wesley and Gunn. They hug for a good 10 seconds and back off, wearing sheepish smiles. Cordelia points at Spike and asks," do we hug?" Spike shakes his head no and replies, "I don't think so. I think I tried to kill you too many times".
Cordelia nods and tries to retort but Angel cut her off. "So, who's your friends"? The other two cloaks step up and brush back their hoods, reavealing Fred on the right and a man in his 40's, not familiar with the rest of the fang gang. After immediately seeing Fred's face, Wesley jumps the gun and hugs her, kissing her face, neck, cheeks, hands. After a while of hugging, he backs off, trying to fend off tears. Then, one by one, they come up to hug their friend. Illyria just stands in the corner, scanning the 'ritual' her only friends were performing.
Finally, Spike broke the somewhat awkward silence and asks," So. Who the bloody hell are you?". They turn their attention to the man, who hasn't said a word or even an expression until Spike's question. He cocks his head and replies, "I am Ryjen". Angel looks at him confused, so does Wesley, as they try to think where that name is familiar. Ryjen continues, "I will be your guide in this matter". Suddenly, Wesley 'ahas' as he realizes who Ryjen is.
"Your the first...", Wesley started but Angel cuts him off and finishes, "champion".

A half-torn piece of paper flies over some european city, like it's on some journey. It twirls and flips in the air. Finally, it falls down onto a sidewalk, in front of some victorian apartment. As if one cue, a Jeep Wrangler parks right in front of it. Two people get out, a man out of the driver's seat and a woman out of the passengers. The man has a black eye patch that really completes that safari look. The woman, with dark brown hair, roughly 24, steps on the paper and treks it in with her and the dark-haired man. The make their way in and finally stops at a room down the hall. They knock four times and finally the door opens, revealing a wide-eyed Buffy Summers. "Oh. Two of my favorite people". In walks Xander Harris and Faith, recently engaged. Faith holds up her hand to show Buffy her new and very shiny ring. "Holy crap, Xand. Is this silver kryptonite?", asked Buffy, letting out a little chuckle. He replies, "No. Apparently, Lois Lane keeps a large collection. How are you"? Buffy sits down in the chair as the couple flop down on the couch. "Eh. In the last year, I've found out that normal life is really overated. And when I occaisionally go out to slay, there's no vampires or demons. Hey! I got an idea. We could go back in time and keep Will from doing the slayer spell". Xander and Faith let out a laugh before Buffy walks towards the door and bends down. She picks up the piece of paper and stands up. She un-crumples and starts to read. Her face fades from laughter to worry. Faith queries, "What is it, B?" She looks up to Xander and Faith and retorts, "Spike's dead". Xander and Faith look at each other, worried for their friend's health. "Buffy? He's been dead for two years", says Xander. She shakes her head and hands the paper to her friend. His face also turns into horror. Finally, Buffy lets out, "We have to go to Los Angeles".

"You? Your the first o' mighty and virtuous one?", asked the incredulous Spike. Angel rests his head on his hand, trying to block out Spike's ridiculous remarks. Wesley glances at Spike and returns to Ryjen to give a embarrased and apologetic smile and nod. Gunn shakes his head, amazed at Spike's attitude. Illyria smirks and cocks her head, interested in the first champion of the human dimension. Spike continues, "Well, I'll be damned. Literally. I'm the recently departed Spike. How do you do?", as he holds his hand for Ryjen to shake. Relunctantly, he shakes the vampire's hand. "So, how did you get stuck with this soddin' gig? Lose a bet? Picked the wrong bloody straw?", Spike jokes. "Oh, come on! I'm only tryin' to lighten up this place. You know, for ****s and giggles"! They fought to keep smirks off their faces but to no victory. Soon, they begin to chuckle. After the laughter is sucked out of the bright room, Wesley finally brings up this 'matter'. "So, Ryjen. What is the point of this"?
Ryjen begins, "You five were taken when you were not supposed to be. You went on this...- You're friends call it, a suicide mission. We did not fore see it, nor know of your intentions. If we did, we would have stopped you". Before he could continue, Angel interupts. "Wait, wait a second. You're pissed at us for preventing an apocalypse?! The apocalypse?!" Ryjen steps forward and replies, "What you prevented was not the apocalypse. What Lindsay McDonald said was true, the apocalypse has already began.. but not by The Wolf, Ram, and Hart. Their goal was to take over this dimension once the true threat had been realized and had already made their move".
For the first time, Illyria spoke up. "Who is this threat?" Ryjen shakes his head as he goes on, "I've already told you too much".
Cordelia shoots a regretfull smile at Angel and says, " And not to sound too cliche but this is where you have to make a choice". They all look at her in confusion except for Spike, who just scoffs. She continues, "Either return or stay. And not all of you have to go back. Just two. We will return shortly". Suddenly, Ryjen, Cordelia, and Fred disappear with a big flash. A minute of deafening silence passes as they contemplate which ones go back. Finally, Gunn speaks in a sullen voice, "So... who gets the two short straws?"

Hundreds of girls come into an irregularly large gym, talking to each other. On both sides of the gym are bleachers, where an even amount of them go and sit down. In the middle of the room, stands Buffy Summers, Xander Harris, Faith, Rupert Giles, Andrew Wells, Vi, Kennedy, and 5th slayer in charge Keira Blake. Buffy tries to speak but the overwhelming collage of voices tower over her voice. Finally, Kennedy yells, "Shut up!" Immediately, the slayers stop their talking and give their full attention to Buffy.
She steps forward and says, "As most of you already know, I am Buffy Summers". The younger slayers ohh! and ahh! at their general. Faith, Kennedy, Vi, and Keira roll their eyes in almost unison. Without anyone knowing except for Buffy, a young man, unfamiliar to the Scoobs, creeps into the gym. He has a backpack strapped over his shoulder and a cocky smirk over his face. "N-not to go all speechifyin' and gung ho general but something has happened, something bad. We have to go to Los Angeles to see a couple old friends. Wanna come?" Simultaneously, every slayer stands up and yells, "Yes"! Vi, Giles, and Andrew go over and escort the slayers out as the young man walks towards Buffy and the rest of the Scoobs.
Xander, Faith, Kenn, and Keira stand behind Buffy as the man stops, still wearing the smirk. "Hey. I heard you guys were takin' a trip to L.A. Mind if tag?" Xander steps forward and retorts, "Umm, A:who the hell are you? B:what the hell are you?" The man snickers and replies, "Name's Carter. And someone who can help you. If you want to see Angel... and Spike."

"You can help us? You can find 'em?", asks Faith, who is standing beside Buffy now. They look Carter up and down, checking if he will reach for a weapon. He continues, " I can. But the rookies won't help. Just you guys. Now." Buffy puts on her pensive face as Xander walks to the other side of Buffy. "You're not actually trusting him, are you? I can see trap written all over him and I'm half-blind"! Buffy shoots a death glare at Xander but she stays silent. She returns her attention to Carter and replies, "How can we trust you?" He sighs and glances at each one. "I can't give you any token of trust. No one ever can. What I can give is two survivors. But we have to leave now before Wolfram and Hart comes back here. Or they will land in their possesion and that would be bad. Really, really bad."
Buffy looks at her friends, asking for their nods of agreement. Hesitantly, all 4 give their nods. She turns to Carter and says, "We'll go but we're taking three more people." They walk past him and towards the out-going door. He follows them through but as Carter exits, the gym door tags his backpack, making something fall out, a picture. In the picture, there stands three men, but their different. One has red hair and a horn coming out of his upper forehead. Another has long blue hair and his skin has a blue tint, like Illyria. Another is bald but has a dark black beard, with very black eyes. On the bottom of the picture says,'Typhon, Baal, and Karis.... The First Three'.

Once again, the deafening silence returns as Spike, Angel, Wesley, and Gunn stand in each corner, contemplating their decisions. Illyria stands by the east wall, scanning each one. Wesley begins to speak but only sighs, returning to his semi-catatonic state. Finally, Angel speaks, " I'm staying". Everyone looks at him, schocked at his unexpected answer. Angel takes the hint and says, "This is the most human I'll ever be. If I go back and make the same kind of desicions, mistakes, I'll- This is my one chance to make it here and I'm gonna take it." Wesley stared at Angel and asked, "You signed away the Shanshu, didn't you?" Angel nods as Spike makes his way over to him. "You signed your share of Shanshu away?! Why?! What the bloody hell is wrong with you?! Your selflessness is only beaten out by your bloody big ego! Both us can't stay here! Why do I have to keep goin' back?! Comin' back from the dead every apocalypse! Talk about a victim of circumstance!"
He retreats to his corner as Angel begins, "Can you stop your whining?! So what?! You've died three times! So have I!" Spike gets really upset and starts yelling in Angel's face, "You have not died three soddin' times! You were sent to hell by Buffy, not killed by her!" Before he could go on, Illyria steps up and pushes both of them away from each other. "Both of you, shut your mouths! You two half-breeds fight each other even though you fight side-by-side! Ridiculous! Absurd! In my time, I would have squashed you into molecules by now for such insolence!" They return to their corner or area and as Gunn begins, "I'm sorry to put all the wieght on Spike, Wes, and Blue but.. I'm tired and I just want to chill. Dusting vamps isn't what it used to be and fightin' people like Wolfram and Hart, it's too big for a street fighter like me. So, I'm with Angel." Now, Gunn joins Angel by the south wall as Wesley, Spike, and Illyria stay close around the north wall. Illyria cocks her head and starts, "Do you believe they could do me a.. favor?" Wesley, intrigued by Illyria's question. "Depends on the favor." She continues, "Do you think they could take me out of this shell and put me in my native form on another dimension?" Wesley and Spike look at each other.
Suddenly, Ryjen, Cordelia, and Fred appear in front of Angel and Gunn, facing Spike and Wesley. Ryjen steps forward and says, "So, it is settled. Spike and Wesley will return home." Wesley and Spike step forward, trying to sway the first champion. Ryjen continues, "I am sorry. The decision has been made and set in stone. Once again, we are sorry." With a flash, Ryjen, Cordelia, Fred, Angel, Gunn, and Illyria disappear. Wesley and Spike look at each other and together they say, "Oh, shh-," before they also disappear.

Back at the alley behind the Hyperion, the aftermath of the battle is still seen with thousands of dead bodies and fallen buildings. At the mouth of the battle-scared alley, a bright light shines through the dense fog. The fog rises and floats away, showing the Scoobys entering the alley. Buffy and Carter leads as Faith and Xander are on the far right and Vi, Kennedy, and Keira on the left. Directly behind Buffy and Carter is Willow, Andrew, and Dawn, walking very slowly, trying not to attract any noise. Their faces shows shock and fear, amazed at the magnitude of the aftermath. They stop at the chain-link fence. Buffy shakes her head and says, "How come they never gave us the heads up? They didn't feel it was necassary to ask for our help?" Carter chuckles and asks, "And did you feel it was necassary to turn down Angel's plea for help?" Buffy turns to him and retorts, "What are you talking about? I haven't talked to him since he started working at Evil,Inc." Andrew begins to creep away as Carter replies, "B.S! He called the Council 5, 3 months ago for your help. And what'd you do... told him to piss off!" Buffy begins to speak but notices Andrew's withdrawal. "Andrew? You know what he's talkin' ab-"
Suddenly, another bright flash appears at the mouth and they all run to it. They find a unconcious Spike and Wesley. Spike has lost his platunum blonde hair and now it's completely shaved, leaving brown hair. They still have their clothes on but their all torn and ragged. Buffy and Dawn has knelt down to Spike as Faith and Willow to Wesley. Xander asks, "What if they're all... Angel-y?" Everyone turns to Xander, furious with him. "Not like that. I mean, when Angel got back from his hundreds of years in hell vacation. He was all rabid and whatnot. What if the same thing happened to them?" Buffy retorts, showing worry in her voice, "That's not what is on my mind. The question is... where's Angel?"

Part 6

15 men and women run down a trashy alley, apparently running from something. They turn into the main street as a large shadow appears on the wall of a run-down building. They reach the stoplights but is intercepted by one of the 'men' in the picture, the one with the black beard and eyes. They take a few steps backward as they morph into vamp mode. The alpha-vamp steps up and yells, "What the hell are ya? Boogeyman?" The man laughs and grabs the vamps neck, "You amuse, half-breed. Your kind has grown mighty courage to stand up against me. I.. am Baal. God-King of the Abyssus." In one swift motion, he squeezes the vamp's neck and it dusts. "And now, you will meet my brethern." Behind the vamps, stand the other two. The one with red hair and horn jams his hand into another vamps heart and squeezes, instantly making the vamp dust. "You dare stand up against Typhon, God-King of the Primordium! I will rip out your tongue and your eyes for such insolence!" He grabs two more vamps and performs the same action, getting the same result. Then, the one who looks like a male Illyria steps up. He raises his hand and gently flicks the closest vamp, sending him to the nearest warehouse. Typhon continues, "Well done, Karis." He looks at Typhon, empty of expression, and turns and walks away. He smiles as he hears the rest of the vamps scream behind him.

Moonlight shines through the open windows of the infirmary. Wind blows through, making the windows move back and forth, creating an incesant creak. The wind moves through the room, ruffeling the inhabitants covers. The only two people in the cots groan, waking up from the chilly wind. They grab the covers and pull it off their faces, revealing Spike and Wesley. They try to sit up but their handcuffed to the bed. Wesley looks to his left, over at Spike and lets out a scornful laugh. Spike glares at Wesley and asks in a calm voice, "What the bloody hell are laughin' at, mate?" Wesley tries to answer but every time, out comes laughter. Finally, the laughter fades as they notice two girls, holding crossbows, guarding the only entrance and exit. One of the girls takes out a walkie talkie and talks into it, "They're awake". Very faintly, Spike heard a man say, "Hold them there. We'll be there in a minute". The two girls walks towards them and stands by the foot of the cots as they keep their crossbows pointed at them. The one who had the walkie talkie begins, "Hello, my name is Lucy and I'll be your slayer for the evening. One of you move and I'll be forced to give your head a new ornament." Spike snickers at the rookie and stops struggeling against the chains. In a hopeful tone, Wesley begins, "Umm, miss? My name is Wesley Whyndam-Pryce. Could you per-" Viciously, the girl thrusts the crossbow under his chin. "What did you think I meant by 'move', 'head', and 'ornament'? Huh?!" Suddenly, the crossbow flies out of her hand. She looks towards the door and sees Willow standing before Buffy, Xander, Faith, and Andrew. Buffy runs towards Lucy, grabs her throat, and thrusts her against the wall, between the two towering windows. "If they so much have a papercut, I'll be holding you responsible. Think about this before you shove arrows under allies' chins." Terrified, the younger slayer nods and somehow gets away from Buffy's hold. She grabs her co-guard and hurries out the room. They gather around the beds and start to unlock their chains. Wesley sighs and states, "For holding us prisoner, you care a lot about our well-being." Spike and Wes sit up, rubbing their wrists. Buffy stands between the two beds as the rest stand beside her. "I would like answers. Now!", commands Buffy, showing exactly that in her features. Before Spike could retort, Wesley asks, "Traditionally, one has to ask questions before seeking answers." Buffy lets out a exasperated sighs and replies, "Stop with the logic. Where's Angel and Cordy?" Faith steps forward and adds, "And Gunn and the scientist?" Spike and Wesley glance at each other, searching for the right words. Finally, Spike blurts out, "We all died." Simultaneously, every set of eyes turn to Spike, completely dumbfounded at his directness. Wesley added, "Some sooner than others. Let's just say we were pick-", Spike interupts and finishes, "Picked?! We were stuck with the soddin' jo-" he stops as he brushes his hair. He reaches up to his head and tries to grasp his absent blonde hair. "Where's my hair?" He starts to stammer, panicking, still trying to grasp his hair. Sinister smiles creep onto their faces, failing to hide their joy for the lack of the radioactive-colored hair. In a furious tone, Spike asks, "Must've been Angel. Wanker."

Part 7

"Can you de-vague that for us? They're coming?!", yelled the furious vampire, letting his english accent roll, at the head of the long boardroom table. Surrounding it, sat 7 other vampires, startled by the outburst of the master vampire. The vamp at the other end yelps and starts, "Please, Lukas. I don't know a lot right now, but I assure you, we will know about what the message means." Abruptly, Lukas reaches down in his long coat, pulls out a stake, and hurls it at the vamp, insantly dusting it. "I can't stand not knowing the specifics of an upcoming apocalypse!", yelled Lukas. Unexpectedly, three more vampires, two male and one female, barge into the office, with the utmost confidence and not one once of fear. The far right one, steps up, his duster floating behind him, starts, "I'm Jerrick. To my right is Kell and Darcy. Lukas, I presume?" The master nods as Jerrick continues, "We have your answers, but you're gonna have to do something your not going to like." The master walks towards the three un-morphed vamps and threatens, "Listen, chump. I already have one pile of dust. Let's not make 2, 3, 4 piles. Tell me now or I won't have to get my vacuum." Jerrick chuckles and nods as he gives in. "We're gonna have to enter negotiations with the Slayer. We're gonna need they're help." Lukas takes a moment to stare at them and turns to his own charges and starts to laugh hyserically. Soon after, his charges begin to chime in. Irritated, Jerrick clears his throat, hinting to Lukas to shut up. His laughter dialing down, Lukas says, "Who are you kidding?! Negotiations? With the slayer? Who do you think you are?!" Jerrick walks towards Lukas, stopping mere inches from Lukas's face. "We... are the Triumvirate. I think we know what we're doing." Nervously, Lukas takes a step back, knowing which battles to fight. "Why didn't you say something?", asked the master vampire. Darcy, with her bright blonde hair covering most of her face, gives Jerrick a manella folder. He opens it, flips through the pages, and throws it onto the table. He glances back up at Lukas and states, "You'll find me and my associates have a pension for the melodramatic. And impatience. Look it over and call our number on the first page when you've made up your mind. If you say yes, we'll be there with you at the negotiations. Say no, we'll be here at your funeral." Almost gliding away, the three vampires exit the boardroom as Lukas takes his seat at the end of the table. Once again, the door opens and his secretary enters the room. Lukas looks up and orders, "Hello, Victor. Could you get me some O-Pos, please. Preferabley, virgin. Thank you."

Wesley rests his arm on the chair's armrest, eyes staring at the bare wall. On his right, Spike sits lurched forward, sipping on a half-full glass of otter blood. In front of them was Andrew, sitting behind his desk, writing something down on his notepad. Buffy sat on the front right corner of the desk, her legs folded. In the right corner, stood Xander and Faith, his hands around her waist. In the other corner was Willow and Kennedy, eyeing both of them. Guarding the door behind them was Vi and Keira, holding their arms behind their backs. In the calmest voice possible, Buffy asks, "Are you guys all right?" The sudden noise tears Wesley from his trance, finally looking at the slayer. "As we can be, I suppose. Dying for me was.. a process that I don't intend on going through again." Knowingly, Spike nods, smiling as he takes another sip. "I had a building thrown on me. Not sure on how you did in, but I don't recommend my way", stated the still smiling Spike. Xander snickers as he shakes his head. "The same ol' Spike. Always thinkin' of himself." Suddenly, Spike thrusts up and clasps his hands around Xander's neck before anyone flinched a muscle, and in the process, knocked down Faith. Wesley and Buffy grab both of Spike's arms and slowly, pulls him from the gasping Xander. Wes rips Spike from Buffy's possesion and pushes him against the wall beside the door. He punches the vampire in the face, making him double-over. He straightens Spike back up and holds his shoulders. "Spike, listen to me. They do not know. Get a hold of yourself." Over his shoulder, stood the furious Buffy, ready to beat the crap out of them. "We don't know what?!" Wesley whips around. "3 things! 1: your team of slayers and watchers is filled with untrustworthy bastards. 2: Xander asked for it! And 3: the apocalypse! And I stress the word 'the'." Everyone shuts up, exception for the still gasping Xander. Faith starts to walk toward Spike but is held back by Buffy's arm. She tries to bat it down but Buffy grabs Faith's arm and whips her back, toward Xander. "What the hell, B?", questioned Faith. Buffy turns around and faces Wesley as she replies, "They know more than we do. And they're important." Xander straightens up and asks, "How do you figure?" Buffy looks over her shoulder and retorts, "They died. They came back. The Powers must've thought they were important." Suddenly, a demon breaks through the window on the right. It has green skin, covered in armor, with two green horns on each temple. Before it could attack, another person jumps through the window and breaks the demon's neck. He struggles up, revealing a panting Whistler. Everyone looks at the 'peaceful' demon, wearing confused faces. He straightens up and eyes Buffy and asks, "Miss me?"
