::Angelic Slayer was on stage, looking way too good in her Prada dress, and seriously, where did she get off talking like she's all that anyway? Thinking she's SOOO awesome, being the boss of everything and leaving certain people looking like...
"Wait, where was I? Oh yeah...
::Security pounced on Lyri and Kean as they were sneaking around backstage.::
"HEY! Do you know how hard it is to sneak in DM's? Back off!"
::Luckily, Kean and Lyri didn't come alone. Eliot Spencer and Dean Winchester, Lyri and Kean's respective dates for the evening, where on hand to deal with the pea-brained muscle-bots.::
::Really, it wasn't even hard, leaving Kean and Lyri free access towards the stage.::
::As they're passing, Lyri notices Black Eye Guy and Flannen waiting in the wings.
::Lyri whispers something into Eliot's ear, and she watches as he crosses the backstage area until he's next to Flannen.::
"'Scuse me, ma'am. There's a P. Sawyer outside-"
::Eliot's hair flies around his face in the wake of Flannen's rapid exit.::
::Lyri laughs a little before she clears her throat, and adopts her perfect New York accent::
"Oh, my God! Is that Spencer Pratt? Who the hell invited his ugly ass?"
::BEG smiles, evilly I might add, as he turns on his heel and heads for the door, fist flexing as he goes::
::Lyri and Kean share a smirk::
"These Mods are so easy."
::On stage, Angelic Slayer is just finishing up her opening speech as Kean and Lyri step on up.::
::Exchanging a look with Kean, Lyri squares her shoulders and bends her knees, before she races across the stage and hits Angelic Slayer with a spear that Edge would be damn proud of. AS goes flying off the stage, landing hard on the people in the front row. Old Master 3.0 gets a stiletto up his nose.::
::Lyri picks herself up and dusts herself down, elegant as ever, as she smirks at AS.::
Kean: That's enough of out of you hun, don't you think.
::AS gulps, Kean's words sounding decidedly more like a threat than a suggestion::
AS: Wha-
::Once again AS is cut off but this time Lyri is the one doing the cutting.::
Lyri: We're happy for you hun, really we are, we're just not happy enough to let you finish. You see, Kean and I were the greatest hosts of all time!
Kean: ALL TIME!
Lyri: I'm sure you understand why this whole thing just wasn't working out, I mean our three year contracts alone but don't worry, we've got it from here.
::Lyri treats AS to a conspiratorary wink and them gives the nod to Kean::
Kean: Ok BB, we are Baaaack! Welcome to the 2010 Buffies and I have to say it is both a pleasure and an honour for myself and Lyri, last year's winners of The Chosen Two award, to be back in The Buffy-Board Dome!
Lyri: How are you all feeling tonight?
::Crickets::
Kean: Aw come on you can do better than that!
::Kean unleashes a death glare unto the crowd and whispers menacingly::
Kean: You better do better than that!
::Half hearted appluase and slightly terrified luaghing trickles around the Dome::
Lyri [beaming]: That's what we want to hear!
::Lyri spots movement out of the corner of her eye, and turns to see something moving en mass towards them.
::Lyri turns a funny shade of white.::
Kean: Ok folks, lets get this show on the road! Our first awar-
::Lyri elbows Kean in the ribs, cutting her off::
Lyri: Kean!! KEAN!!
Kean: What? Can't you see I'm busy over here? I thought we'd decided, I'd do the first award, and you'd do the next one. Really, I won that game of beer pong fair and squa-"
Lyri: Will you shut up and look over there?!
::Lyri grabs Kean by the shoulders and turns her towards the left wing, where the gathering of Lindsey-Bots are marching in their direction.::
Kean: Uh, Lyr, you did remember to bring the Connor-Bots with you, right?
::Lyri glares at Kean.::
Lyri: And just WHERE would I have fitted my Connor-Bots in this dress?
::Lyri looks back at the Lindsey-Bots and cocks her head in consideration.
Lyri: Hey, have you noticed how much prettier Eliot Spencer is than Lindsey? I mean, really, it's not even a question.
Kean: Seriously, Lyr? You wanna talk about the pretty NOW?"
::Kean rolls her eyes::
Kean: Sorry, forgot who I was talking to for a second.
::The Lindsey-Bots continue to advance and Kean and Lyri lose their bravado.
::Lyri screams like a little girl and tries to throw her shoes at the Bots. She forgot she was wearing knee-high black DM's under her dress, and really, they don't have time to undo all those laces. So she throws her purse instead and hightails it towards the right wing, where Dean and Eliot have already been captured.
::Kean glares at them.::
Kean: Oh, what good are YOU?
::Before she can get so much as step away Kean grabs Lyri by the wrist.::
Kean: Oh no you don't, where they hell do you think you are going?
::Lyri looks at Kean like she had fifty heads::
Lyri:Where do you think I'm going? Away from here! Far far way!
Kean: And what happened to 'We'll show them!' and "We're in this together?
Lyri: In this together DID not mean you, me and an ARMY OF LINDSEYS!
Kean:What did you THINK was going to happen we'd stroll in and they'd be like "Here, you host!?
Lyri: Um...
:: Kean and Lyri had no time to carry on their little spat as they were surrounded by evil lawyers, all smelling strangley like Faith's perfume.::
::As terrifying went, this was new.::
::The Lindseys closed ranks and soon had Kean and Lyri safely secured and were moving them off stage.::
::Kean and Lyri thrashed and screamed in the Lindsey's graps.::
