In the Fray series Melaka's demon watcher, Urkon speaks of the final battle of the last called slayer, in which the last slayer possibly aided by a group of mystical allies fights a demon horde to end the existence of demons and magic in this reality. In the last issue of Time of your life Fray refers to Buffy as "the last girl".
Let's assume Fray and Urkon are both correct. There is a final battle, and Buffy is the last slayer. Who are the mystic allies? If Buffy is the last slayer doesn't that assume all the others are gone (including Faith)?
On the other hand, we know the final battle as detailed by Fray and Urkon doesn't seem possible, because in that final battle the last slayer disappears into a dimensional portal never to be seen again. We know a season 9 is planned. So unless season 9 takes place in another dimension, which would exclude all the supporting characters - and who really sees that happening - Fray, Urkon, or both are wrong about some of the significant details.
