As a swede you should say Larsson, he's your countrys greatest.

He's good no doubt but he'll never be among my favourites. My all time favourite swede is probably Stefan Schwarz.

Although the other day he did have a fight on the training ground with Steve Taylor, but as long as he's scoring goals and the Toon are winning I don't really mind.

I've heard that he at least had problems with his attitude. Breaking the jaw of the captain (?) must be real popular.

Sky Sports | Football | Scottish Premier | Celtic | Mowbray 'makes Bhoys exit'

Celtic have parted company with manager Tony Mowbray following a woeful campaign in Scotland's top flight, Sky Sports News understands.

The Bhoys were expected to challenge Rangers for the SPL title this season, but are currently well adrift of their arch rivals.

Celtic missed the chance to close the gap on Wednesday following a humiliating 4-0 thrashing at the hands of St Mirren.

Mowbray was named Gordon Strachan's replacement last summer, but the ex-West Brom tactician has found the Parkhead faithful a tough crowd to win over.

Strachan won the SPL title three times in four years while Celtic's defeat to the Buddies was their 13th of the season under Mowbray.

Former Celtic and Leicester City midfielder Neil Lennon is the early favourite to take over first-team affairs for the rest of the season.

Yeah i just saw that on the news. All the celtic fans are glad he's gone, its been a terrible season for us.

Well, as we don't know any of the circumstances I think it's hard to say what the other players think of Andy Carrol. As a Newcastle fan I won't think any less of him until I know all the facts. Hopefully they will both be able to put whatever the problem was behind them and concentrate on winning the league. Although Steve Taylor must be bitter, he loves Newcastle Utd, and I think he is willing to be the bigger man, forget about and get on with the football, and do whatever he can to keep winning.
Newcastle do seem to get all the 'attitude problems' though. Just look at Joey Barton 😀

See what happens when you get humped 4-0! You get sacked. I just cant wait til next season now, and i'm annoyed we dont have champions league football to look forward to.

I just read this on BBC(2.15am). That's what I get for playing Bioshock2 all day!
Champions league seems interesting. Too bad I couldn't watch tonights game between Arsenal and Barcelona. Seems to have been a very intresting game. Happy to see Zlatan score, especially since people often say he never scores in big games. Which isn't totally true but too rarely I admit. Not sure how he scored though so it might not have been anything special.

Tomorrow Liverpool - Benfica. Quite nervous actually. Still remembering how they beat us in CL a couple of years ago. Hope Torres can continue scoring. Too be honest the cup isn't very special but it would be soooooooooo much better than winning nothing this crap of a season.

Right, I cannot believe that we(arsenal)
got out of that game with a 2-2 draw! We were awful & Barca were spectacular. They didn't even need Messi to play tonight & still should have whupped us by many, many goals. I have bad feelings about the return leg, if we sit off them & drop as deep as we did tonight, I can't see them not going through.

Fair play to arsenal gettin a draw! But to be fair they'll do well not to get f'ed in spain. I personally hope Barca hump them 5 nil 😉 and, come on tha Bayern lol.

Less of it you! 😛

I can't see Arsenal coming away from the Nou Camp which is arguably one the most aggressive and intimidating atmospheres in Europe with the win. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see that in them just yet.

So Cesc might have broken his frickin' leg!!! Broken, good grief. I was screamin' at the tv for him just to go off after he took the penalty, but he stayed on & played 6-7 mins with what could be a broken leg!! Didier Drogba take note.

Anybody see the 2nd leg of Arsenal - Barcelona? It finished 4 - 1 to Barca, Arsenal were pretty awful, Lionel Messi was just unreal though. Scored all four goals, and the third goal was just an unbelievable touch. If you haven't seen it you've got to watch it:[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtKr1DH9rXw"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtKr1DH9rXw[/ame]The best player in the world. You have to watch the replay, because the first angle is not the best 🙂

So with Man Utd out there are going to be no English teams in the Champions League semi finals. Personally this doesn't really bother me, I don't feel Man Utd represent England in any way, and no matter how far they got they would have eventually come up against Barcelona and lost anyway 😛 Robben volley yesterday was awesome, too, Man U were pretty much stuffed after the sending off...

Best champs league for a few years imo, Man u and Arsenal going out was great, Arsenal have no one in attack without Fabregas, and Man u without Rooney aint too good either. I'd love to see underdogs Lyon win it. I dont think Barca are definatly gonna win it, as great as they are i could see Inter beating them.

Over the two legs we deserved to go out. Our inability to maintain possession was the real killer for me. The passing was not up to a United standard. Too many players who aren't up to United standard too: the entire midfield and Barbatov. Vidic hasn't been the same player since he said he wanted to leave.

This is an old question, but I've been away lol

Can anyone tell me why there were a ton of people in the stands at Chelsea-ManU last weekend, wearing Norwich colours?

My father and I have sat through God know's how many matches now trying to figure that out.

I found the reason. It's a protest to the Glaziers and sign of unity by the fans. Man United was originall Newton Heath and their colours were yellow and green. The fans are wearing the scarves to show the Glaziers that Man U cannot be bought and sold. Man U is more than just a business venture, it has roots and a long history.

Oh lord...

Guess what? ManU can be and WAS bought and sold lol

That said, yes Glazer is a douche and they never should have sold the club to him but what you gonna do, it's been like 3 years lol

Isn't there also a group called (I think) The Red Knights that are trying to plan a take over? They're like a group of 4 business men who are 'Man U through and through' and want to 'make it better'. So I was also wondering whether it had something to do with them too.

Also my boyfriend would be SO proud of the Norwich acknowledgement, Buffy! 😉
