The Happiness Thread

I remembered today that I am doing an episode of the Hellmouth Podcast the week after next. It's 'Something Blue' and I really hope you all listen to it, if not for the podcast then for me and my awesome accent 😛 I'm really excited and nervous and I kinda need to re-watch the episode to have it fresh in my mind. I CAN'T WAIT!

I'm happy because tonight I popped in a DVD I've been meaning to watch (the BBC production of Jane Austen's Persuasion), and surprisingly, Anthony Stewart Head was in it! I love randomly seeing BtVS actors. 😀
 
Good work day, then I took my brother and his friend bowling and now in two hours I'll see Harry Potter DH2. 🙂 Yay!

I have no idea what you're talking about but I just really wanted to karma you. Good for you, anyway :)
I love the library. I just bought three books from there, all in great condition. And all three were books I've been meaning to read. I'm most excited to read The Joy Luck Club, since a few months ago when I realized I've never actually read it. It's odd, because anyone can tell you that that book is one of the most prominent Asian American identity narratives out there, and I've never read it. I feel like I need to. I'm happy I picked it up for like, fifty cents instead of paying the bookstore sticker price!

Also borrowed Suburban Girl (spending tonight with SMG 😉) and an adaptation of Mansfield Park with Billie Piper in it. It's not my favorite Jane Austen book by far, but I like Billie Piper, so...😀

And made plans to see HP soon with my best friends. Should be fun. 🙂

Never read Joy Luck but saw the movie for the first time a couple months ago. It was great! And saw Suburban Girl a couple days ago on tv! Weird!

I KNOW! I'm so excited. I'm guest hosting it in season 6 for 'Smashed' as well. Can you figure out why I chose these episodes? 😛 But yeah, I can't wait. And Bryan's really cool, I talked to him once at his live chat thing 'cause I got there really early. I'd sent him a mass video with me and my bestie singing and he was all "was it you who sent me that video of you singing? Because it was really, really good". I felt special.

Oh, yeah. iTunes if you just search 'Hellmouth Podcast'. You can also search the 'Investigating Angel Podcast' if you actually decide you enjoy the Hellmouth Podcast. They're linked, hosted by the same people. They get really good interviews over there, they just had one with the DragonCon Whedonverse Track Director that was awesome and they've had Amber Benson (with a random appearance by JAMES MARSTERS!!) and Juliet Landau, Steven S. DeKnight, and Tim Minear. So, you should definetly listen not just for me 🙂 You can also go to www.hellmouthpodcast.com

HAHA, you are awesome. We do need to get the word out. I'm glad I'm someones hero. You know, you should guest host sometime too. If you go to the website and the forums there is a section on guest hosting and you just pick an episode you want, it's very cool.
It's kind of funny 'cause I totally remembered that you loved the Hellmouth Podcast. I knew you would comment on this.

Just another random note on this...another of our members has co-hosted in the past for those of you who don't know. Daniel (dan k) guest hosted for 'Helpless' and I think he's set to do 'Restless' as well so...yeah, it was very cool. 😀
 
Had a little bit of extra cash so I bought the "Last Gleaming" graphic novel. Which I am super excited about since I never got to read the last issue!

Also on my way home, one of the clouds totally looked exactly like Spike's bug ship. I laughed.

I just ordered "How to be a Woman" by Caitlin Moran and ""How to leave Twitter" by Grace Dent from Amazon. I have read so much good stuff about them, I can't wait to read them!

Women of Comic Con roundtable thing!


i think it's hosted by E! or something but I randomly came across it and someone put it on youtube and it's so wonderful. So wonderful. I haven't even watched all of it yet but so far I spy Anna Torv, Maggie Q, and Sarah Michelle Gellar all at one table, talking and laughing. I love these ladies so much, it's ridiculous. I don't care if it's all for show or what (though of course I hope it's not), I just love these three, I think they're all beautiful, and I also love seeing women in a competitive business interacting and sharing stories and laughing. I'm happy. 🙂 🙂 🙂
