Exactly! Also concerts! I've seen some really great ones! Ozzy was the best! Oh and of course the hockey players are just commonplace when you work there..they're almost like 'normal' people! 🙂 Who make a heck of a lot of money!

🙂 All I have to say is MINUS 45 Celsius!!! That's MINUS 49 FARENHEIT! We certainly can't be called wimps! 🙂

East coast got 95 centimetres of snow. Glad I don't live there! 🙂

It's supposed to be -5C here tonight - that's plenty cold enough for me. I've got my pyjamas out for the first time in ages. Simpsons ones if anyone's interested😉 I think I will only come to Canada in the summer - much sympathy guys, I'd never call you wimps( I guess you're all used to the chilliness though)
 
They make Simpson PJ's?
I was in some yesterday, it was freezing! and then today I wore my school jumper for the first time this year!

Yeah, it's what you get used to. My twister-in-law (Mrs. Dwarf's sister) lives in Red Deer Alberta (aka Dead Rear) and she really has a rough time with the heat...she was down a couple of summers ago, and 22C was "too hot" for her...and when the dwarf clan went to New Orleans last year, we were walking around in shirtsleeves in 20C weather while the locals wore parkas...it really is what you get used to...and Mr. P...Simpson's pj's?? I figured you for a Batman kinda guy...🙂

Redslayer...envious over here...that'd be and awesome job!

They were a present...and, to be honest, I've never seen any adult-sized Batman PJ's. I think if I had I probably would've bought 'em 🙂
 
yea I agree, its like were so used to heatiness ere when its cold were all like in 50 blanckets or somethng!and when I went to darwin last year (like top of Australia) it was winter and we thought it was summer cause of it being so damn humid!
 
It certainly is warming up here (relatively speaking)! Today it's gonna be 15C (60F for my American cousins). That's pretty high for the first week of March here...I'd have my windows down, except that it's raining like crazy...but that's ok, the snowbanks are melting down to big hills instead of mountains!

I know you read that temperature guide I posted, and sad to say, there is a good dose of truth in it...our landscaping companies usually start work outside when 10C is a common temp...and we do ride around with our windows down at 5C...

Its like cold, but on my themomerter (sp?) it said its 29 C. but I think thats wrong... might be cause it was on the compuer...
 
Yea, it might have to do with the fact thatwere still in summer...
 
Well, here, it's still very chilly. In fact, my computer sits so that I face out the window when using it, and right now there's a beautiful lattice work type display of giant ice cycles hanging right in front of the window. Very pretty.... Still, I think that I could be pretty easily persuaded to trade it in for some sunshine.
 
awww thats must be so beautiful!
Why dont you take a picture, so when there is sunshine, you can have beautifulness, and warmth 🙂
